you could also check Maurizio's website. he plays some queen leads and gives the profiles he uses.

Or they have more than morph to propose for next OS
-
What about pure cab per rig? It has been promised!
-
+1 I've played Angus's SG through his Marshall stack and its pretty much set up as you describe.
you very lucky man!!!
-
honestly, I have not been especially looking for an acdc sound but it's not the hardest to recreate. I play a LP and most marshall profiles sound acdc without noodling. set it to low gain, no FX, just EQing a little and a bridge humbucker guitar of course. but don't think angus alone, malcolm and cliff williams are tone masters too and what you could belive is just angus'sound appears to be a whole more. acdc are efficiency monsters, they do it simple but such blast sounding simplicity is a science!

Sure I did not consider this cause I am for now playing on my own. I truly admit they sound less "spectacular" which has been my sole criterion for keeping prodiles. This is good to know that they work well in a mix, thanks.
However, if I would like to build a sound for a mix, I'd most likely start from the spectacular sound I want to achive and tweak until it's good. This may end up in being worse than a similar factory rig but I would not know cause I had deleted it, but as long I am believing I have achieved the optimum I am fine -
hi all,
it's 2-3 months since I own a KPA. I have tried all factory rigs and got many free ones from RE and more i.e. ACE, Soundside & TJ packs, timowens BE100 etc. never bought anything so far.
as soon as I find 2 "close" rigs, I delete the one that I like less. in the end, I almost have no factory rig left on the KPA. not that I do not like them, but and found better ones.
the roadking has lived long but ended disapearing, even the brit one which I really like.
I also prefer MBritts, although I only use free ones (a good 20 free rig pack comes when subscribing to his newletter), and the outstanding timowens Friedman encyclopedia. I am expecting much from JerEvil's quickrod incomming session
all IMO of course, but as a recent owner with much choice I haven't lived much on the factory content. never said I hated them however. note I'm not at all into noodling or FX.

@damariachi sent you a PM yesterday.
I can get them at 800€ (no covers though) but cannot find a cheap shipment quote. lowest so far is 185€ to london.an active CLR at 800€ is a good deal to me. if you are interested you could run shipping quotes. consider I will ship it from toulouse, france. if you know a someone who has a professional account that you could use then shipping will cost way less
-
I agree so much with you
some people are against things just because they need to be against something -
if I can pull down the price a little, I could be interested in the other one and the guy sells both.
I can drive there and test them it's max 1:30 from my place.I am not hooked to the CLRs and the FR12 is coming at 800€ new so there's no way I am spending more in a 2nd hand unit. if you are interested in grouping orders, then I can contact him and see what price he can do.

below a link for 2 active wedges in SW France.
http://fr.audiofanzine.com/petites-annonces/i.1020617.htmlthey are still expensive IMO as the guy sells them with fitting to the wall and expensive covers
are you hooked to CLRs? Matrix is about to release the FR12 which is much lighter (13kg) at around 800€ shipped. but they are not coaxial, I don't know if this has a big impact on sound though. Friedman ASM12 is also available from Th*mann at 859€ shipped.

It's all I know; I only know how to do what I do, Skoczy.
When I figure out how to not do what I do, you'll be the first to know, mate.
Yeah, the "joke" was bad, pamplemousse, but I'm glad you got it... at least, I hope you did, 'cause it would've seemed even worse if you thought it was about a flatulent chick...
I got it because the previous post was about other companies' names
-
Yeah, like FartHole Audible Sister...ah, that joke is bad, but I'm loving it !
-
man, you're gonna enjoy that so much. no doubt your profiles will rock a lot.
I've moved to the KPA cause I was no more into bands, big amps & heavy stuff and wanted a light piece of gear with great sounds a low volumes but since I'm owning it I am more and more excited about amps and stuff. I discovered so many great tones. And I feel like I wanna plug this little beast in everything. the fire is back, damn I do not have more time
-
or Worph to Mah?
-
I'd like to see which pedal characteristics/models the KPA team is recommending here to be able to control wah & morph 'on the fly' with a single pedal
-
ok ok got you all
I'll go for a moog
cheers -
Yep, this would be the point. Otherwise we should buy two pedals... unless everything a single expression pedal does in FW 3 can be replicated through morphing in FW 4, which would of course solve any issue.
A clarification on this would be appreciated.
exactly
assignment per performance or per rig for those who do not use performance mode. I may be dreaming here as I understand this is not easy. -
yeah I got your point. agreed
-
he has probably active pickups on his guitar.
anyways, from the guitar to the KPA the voltages are low. this is just signal, no power. I hardly see how the KPA could get damaged from this
