I'm pretty new to the kemper world but so far there is something which puzzles me: no rigs ID or tags indicate to which guitar they are aimed. Playing a strat or a LP sounds way different, profiles needs different tweaks, at least tweaked profiles sound consider that. Without going into much details, single coil vs. humbucker and position (bridge, neck) should be indicated . This should be a must for commercial profiles IMHO.

Cheers guys, this place really rocks. It helps so much using all the potential of this marvelous piece of gear. Love it
i'm saving questions for later on

Got it! Thanks much and sorry for the topic disturbance

Ok, thanks for being helpful.
this is not about cab sim off then, but when you take out the cab from the stack, right? It would make sense not to perceive pure cab in that case -
Ah I guess I misunderstood this thread then. So it means that you can play "best of both worlds" by playing through a cab and a FRFR with pure cab engaged. probably best sounding option for oneself but monitor does now sound like FOH for live sets.
I don't have (yet?) enough devices to check this by myself.
Cheers all -
Hopefully we'll have more choices in the future

Wouldn't it be great to be able to play cab on & pure cab engaged through the main outs and cab off through monitor out?
-
one of my conclusions is that good sound is easier to achieve through regular guitar cabs, less EQ noodling. when in a band, you are not looking for many sounds. so it's easier to achieve a proper sound through a cab and here you go. when playing on your own, you may wanna try them all. I really love many sounds of my KPA whether I am playing good old R'nR, blues, clean or raw stuff. I am narrowing the number of rigs I play but still just at hearing one, I can start playing 30mins something that sounds great with it.

For the FRFR vs. cab debate, I'd recommend you go through the very long discussions on this forum.
Then, whatever your choice, I'd say the bigger the better but it all depends where you wanna end up. I went to the KPA to reduce my stuff, so here's a super awesome brand new 4x12 with V30's for sale.
For sale: 4x12 Mesa Boogie V30
cheers -
I am assuming that this means pure cab would work well when connected to good FRFR speakers. it will bring back the so famous amp feel

Allez on achète ca financera mon petit 1x12 FRFR
