Thanks I'll try it !

wow, I though direct communication was not possible and everything was going through USB.
so you just plug the toaster in the computer and here you go through RM? man, you made my day -
@Ingolf could you please help me a litlle with how you manage step #3?
3. Then you should empty your profiler (delete the old stock profiles). This is best achieved using RigManager.how is that working? RM sees my usd key but if I empty it, still it does not empty my KPA while importing. I guess i am missing how to "delete all"
cheers -
I am a hobby player too and what I love above all with the KPA is that it sounds great at low volumes and with headphones. that's so convienient for playing at home. I will next be looking at loopers.
IMHO, there is no need for a new form factor. KPA has killer tube amp tones and that's the core of their sound. FX improvements could be done but it's already fair enough to me. I have never been an FX guy, guitar in the amp is what I like. I would appreciate some acoustic and 12-strings simulators though.
Have fun man, fun is all

thanks. these profiles rock. I'll definitely keep an eye on your profiles

Matteo, got my answer. The passive Gemini cabs are FRFR only and do not include the EQ which is part of the amplifier. Bad news for me
-
Im thinking the Passive has the Empower Q as well. Not positive on that but I would email them and verify first if that is what you are looking for. Im willing to bet it does have it. That would be a good option at that price point if you already have a separate power amp or a powered Kemper. I actually think it comes out cheaper that way than if you bought the powered version.
i mailed them and will let you know
-
got it. thanks. I guess the passive version does not have such Empower Q which is probably in the power section
however, it remains the cheapest 2*12 I have seen -
Mateo, where did you see it can either be FRFR or GRFR? This is what I would love to find. I could not read that on the product description. How does this work? I have a powerhead and just need a 1*12 passive cab. Do you know if they can be switched FRFR/GRFR as well? Cheers

I had the CLR. Sounded too pronounced in the treble region. I'm loving the Matrix Q12's. More of a cab Iike feel IMO.
Ok got what you mean. I guess the CLR requires more EQ and profiles tweak. -
guys, which cabs do you like to play then?
did some of you tried the CLR before getting bored with FRFR? -
I tried them yesterday. great Marshall & Fender profiles. What i really like is that they are untweaked. I usually just love the amp tone and almost never add effects. this is a good base to have fun and start turning knobs

got a LP too, so I am responding to the tread to have it available tonight when I am back home and I will get the profile
cheers -
man, thanks much
your amp is a pure beauty. -
