Taking my profiler + remote in a flight case every week to rehearse was a joy after I got rid of my tube amp but imho it’s still a burden. Not talking about concerts is town where I can’t park nearby and whatever my sound is there are chances I will face a bad room with low ceilings, a bad sound man and a drunk audience. So that little thing is worthy to me. It’s probably more useful to the average gigging musician like me than a profiler. Those who can choose their venues have probably more interest in the profiler.

The more time passes the more I am interested
There is a point where sound quality no more prevails over convenience, especially for rehearsals and live

I’m happy with BE 1.0, most 2.0 samples are lydian shredding which is not my cup of tea and that does not help me feeling the need for this pack, although I recognize @Eltzejupp is a beast at making this sound good.
So I picked up the CC30 and graphic OR.
The CC is a killer pack. The blended profiles are soooo good, kudos to Matt. Alnico blue cabs have my preference. I assume these are the alnico blue cause the are the ones without cab name in the file name whereas the others are DI, V30 and Alnico.
I was not in need for new tones now I need to figure out how to incorporate them. Best AC tones ever played through the Kemper.
The graphic OR is pretty good but within the Orange amps I tend to favour the rockerverb pack cause I love this amp.
I have way more profile than I’ll ever need. Still I have to fine tune some sounds and back to the pleasure of playing good rnr

@Alienator get yourself an amplifire. it does the job very well. but you will see you will still need you kemper
-
I assume that if you use the Del + Rev balance setting of the reverb at 100% so that only the wet part of the delay gets reverberated and a 100% reverb mix rate or even better, morph controlled so you increase it for sustain, you can achieve something interesting.
-
You low action shredders can’t know how good it is to slide. I hope you keep an acoustic one properly set
-
I'm cutting at 100hz, else I mix with the bass
-
YES!!!!! Lots of sales today! Thank you guys! PLEASE, let's get some reviews!!!!
Feeling amazing,
MattfigSo glad for you man
-
Thanks it's crystal clear.
If you knew all that I still need to check out... playing takes too much time -
a. you use the Morph Pedal to also control Wah effects (option "MorphPedal to Wah")
can this be understood as "if there are no morphed parameters within a rig, the pedal controls wah"?
I'm interested in "if there's a wah, the pedal controls wah, else it controls morph". Achievable ?
Cheers

as @greenblob said, wake up an hour earlier to get to your DAW. that's the easiest wake up you can get: to do something you love. you'll be freshly awaken, full of ideas and energy. that's a great piece of advise I second. I'm not doing it because I'm a young dad and I lack sleep, but I would if I could. I usually play late at night and always have trouble to sleep cause music takes too much place in my brain then. mornings are perfect, I'll get back there one day.
I have also been dreaming of doing full time music as a living but I have debts and a family to grow. potential music incomes will hardly balance those of my full time customer service manager in aerospace. I also love to spend time with the family, surf the ocean (3h drive so it usually takes full weekends), ski and hike the moutains (2hrs drive), see friends and have a beer/bbq. oh and I have a house that requires much works, it's 4 years I'm spending most of my free time working on it. all in all I can't have too much ambitions and I stick to being in band that allow spare time, hence not many objetives, just playing, making songs better and a few live shows.
I'd buy time if I could

I have lived with and vigorously sexed one of Motely Crue's stage dancers for 3 years, was engaged to a girl who was on the front cover of Vogue magazine in Portugal and dated a professional maltese swimwear model for 2 years...hey man, just seen your avatar, looks like good is not enough for you, or your have a taste for expérimentations
that's just jealous joking

She never was my fan
ha! the girls I have been with were my fans before we were together, but after a while they were fed up with me grabbing the guitar vs. doing something with them
that's still the case with my current girfriend/wife (don't know how to name a person you're with since a long time, have kid with but not married to). it seems I couldn't convert any to something else than hateful mainstream radio music, most are ok to rn'r boyfriends but not to rn'r life -
and red sound cabs do sound good \m/
-
To be honest, the girls I have seen watching the guitarplayers at the bathing lake.
+1, girls is the origin
then Angus and Tom Morello closed the deal -
Very attractive bedroom man
-
Another thing I figured out thanks to the Kemper is how bad the stock pickups are on Les Paul std. the possibility to have the amps sweet spots at bedroom volumes helps much.
Changing them has been a great tone improvement -
my story is the same than yours. I've had a roadster for years and I sold it before I got the kemper. in the end I realize the mesa profiles are not my cup of tea. more than that, I've discovered that it's the tone of V30s that I don't like
