Went on a trip to a cabin with my band this weekend. Recorded some guitars and bass for our preprod. For the bass we used a clean Ampeg amp with a 8/10 cab, using the Darkglass b3k in front. Sounded massive.
For guitars we used the Aborted ultimate amp pack 5150 - miced with fredman technique through a mesa rectifier cab. That profile is killer.

Today I picked up a Yamaha DXR10. Been using the Kemper with headphones since I bought it half a year ago, it is great to finally have a speaker at home. Great sound so far. Can't wait to try it out at rehearsal, and live eventually.

    Kemper spotted!

Devin Townsend has started to record guitars for his new DTP album. Ryan van Poederooyen, his drummer, just posted this picture. Devin has been a AxeFX dude the last years, so I was surprised to see the Kemper.
My guess, is that he is using Kemper for amp+cab, and his AxeFX for effects.
Glad to see more well known musicians embracing the Kemper. Seen it a lot lately.

Is the output led on your kemper turning red when you play?

Lower the main output volume on the Kemper to around - 20db, and make sure that the input settings(clean sense in particular) are set for your pickups. Having gain at 0 on your scarlet is unusual, So something isn't right with your settings!

For the record, I tried to search for similar topics. Obviously I failed.. :)

Figured I'd ask another question here, instead of making a new topic.
I am trying to import more cabinets into my kemper. I've unziped and put the cabinets file in a folder called "Cabinets" in the shared folder on the Kemper-formated USB drive.
Plug it in the Kemper, and nothing happens.. Help?

Fair enough. Some friends of mine in the band Fleshmeadow do this, and it sounds killer. It all depends on what equipment you have and the ear that is listening.

Looking forward to see what sounds I can get out of the Kemper, will keep the clarity parameter in mind! :)

    Hey guys! :)

Picking up my powerrack tomorrow! Can't wait!
I got a question though. Tried to search the almighty internet for an answer, but could only find a topic from 2012, things couldv'e changed now.

Is it possible to use two amp profiles at the same time? If not, does anyone know if this is something that will come in the future?
I play mostly metal these days, and it would be cool to have the "chug" and gain from one amp, and the clarity and more clean/crunch sound from another.

Really looking forward to getting my Kemper, and getting to know the community around it. So far, from the last few weeks I've lurked here, I have a good feeling about this community!
