This has been discussed some firmware versions ago, there must be a thread about it somewhere. I find it quite annoying, and to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed that this hasn't been addressed yet.
I searched but couldn't find any other discussions!
-
Ah, I'm disappointed now! Not a huge deal but hopefully they can clean that up.

Here's the video. Any thoughts? Should I open a ticket?

Fair enough, I've gigged with my Toaster out in the open air for a year with the normal ethernet. No problems.
-
Seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. Good job though!

too much whining! The Kemper has given you all the amps in the world! Quit whining
-
What are the settings?

The remote is the shit! I love how it syncs with one ethernet cable. So clean! Sold all my pedals.. Just the remote and a KP-1!
-
I can report that the same lag happens from time to time over here too.

I just want to chime in here and say that I was negatively affected by this behaviour during a performance, where I was supposed to swell into the first chord of the song but since the volume was already on max, the swell became more like a slam! It was not appreciated by my bosses since we were on live television!
-
The Kemper is the very best. Because of the way it's designed, with it's patented technology, nothing will ever be able to be as good as the Kemper.

This is addressed in 4.06 as far as I know.
-
Should I be using a speaker cable or a guitar cable between the unpowered toaster and the amp? I've been using a speaker cable but I'm not sure that is the correct usage.
Thanks
Tom -
I think it all depends on what type of pedal you have. The kp1 is smooth.

I've done both my Kemper and vocal in a wedge with no problem. If the wedge is of quality then you'll especially have no problem!

For those of us who have been waiting out the "storm" of the 4.x releases, is there a consensus that, since this is an official release version, that it is a "safe" upgrade? I'm still on 3.x since it was stable for me. Too many big summer gigs to risk dealing with bugs.
Anyway, that's what I came to this thread to find out and don't see any actual information regarding stability and safety. If you can let us less-risky guys know!
Thanks,
J
It's stable. -
Awesome, installed. Thanks Team!
