by the way I thought the #2 profile sounded more natural. I’m surprised it was the Kemper

As the owner of a KPA and an Axe II (not III) I am interested in the results for a number of different reasons:
1. I hope that some of those who claim that the KPA has a “certain sound” across amps and profiles now have a chance to put this to the test. If it does, they will be able to identify the profile. I am not denying that some may hear a similarity so I am hoping to get some sort of personal resolution on this.
2. I couldn’t tell the difference so hoping someone will make and post profiles of the III and save me $2,400!
I am voting for 2 as the Axe. It is a total guess.
That was proven wrong last round when all those guys got “the kemper sound” wrong!!!

I vote kemper was the first one.

FIXED IT! Midi Merge was on for all of my Strymon's and I think that was clouding it up. I think we are clear!
Sweet! Would you put “solved” in the title?

Awesome. I subbed for Drew’s guitarist last year and I’m good buddies with them.

Except 6 other people I know have the exact same issue and one rolled back to the last beta and the issues went away.
Some guys don’t have the ear to hear differences in the quality of the distortion. They’re not tight enough players to dicpher the nuances. Maybe you’re that person
Keep dreaming pal. The only thing that changed is the mix knob for legacy reverb. Maybe you should clean your ears out.

It won’t sound *incredible* like you want until you hear it through a 10,000 watt PA. That is my experience, but that’s not to say it doesn’t sound amazing at any volume as well. But when it was cranked, that’s when I really was shocked.

Hot damn, that placebo effect sure is strong!

Wow, that sure is a hell of a log!

They’re super real sounding.

You have to recalibrate the Mix knob on the reverb. It said in the release notes.

I use the SRH840 every day with a lot of luck.

I haven't noticed any change here, but I can definitely echo the Joy of Kemper...
Where’s that picture from? Is grohl actually using kemper?
-
The fact that you can sense 3ms is insane to me. Not that I don’t doubt you but...
-
What type of music do you play?

if you want to use each Performance slot in a bank for a different amp tone, you can take a similar approach.
Program the five amp sounds in the middle bank of five banks. You can program two banks above with the same five amp sounds with different FX, and two banks below, and access five different sets of amps and FX with a maximum of three clicks from your middle bank of sounds.
Makes sense!

Are you building the performances on the kemper or on RM? Make sure you press Store twice every time you are done modifying a rig in performance mode, before you switch.
