Nice presentation and thanks for the explanation what you used
The pure sounds are in the foreground and not the playing skill of the player. -
Actually there's no need to buy commercial Profiles. There are really good ones at the RE.
There's also no need to drink beer but It makes fun (sometimes funny)
It makes fun to test professional profiles. There are many extraordinary. I learned a lot by analyze these rigs.
Profiles give the Kemper its soul. The price is little in comparison to the price of the Equipment. -
Sharry, Ozone is a plugin which produces some matching EQs.
Thanks for the information. I do not use and do not have a DAW. I only play live.
-
It is announced for the next software updates to use other slots for delay and maybe later reverb.

What can be the cause of this?
Is it everytime or just at certain a position on the Remote.
I think of problems with the button of Remote. -

Looking good and useful. It is a note book and not a tablet.
Bigger Screen and a lot of memory and even a CD-slot . -
And Sharry, It would cost a lot less
Ähäm what is Ozone? Even I do not understand the proposal generally.
My Idea is more theoretical with a realistic background.
Is it possible to make a sound at the dexter with an acoustic guitar with 2 sound sources (Pick up and Mic e.g. one of my Lowden) and then connect another guitar only with a Piezo to the dexter.
Would it sound also naturally and could this other guitar also be a Strat with a piezo. Of couse it would be different but how far? The Dexter has in mind how it should sound.
In that case it could be possible to make a profile with the Kemper. Thats the idea.
In the thread is written Dexter works only when the micro- and electrical signal is generated from one guitar at same time.
Save costs would only be possible, if you can organize a Dexter for short time for profiling.
The sound has to be in the Kemper - I do not want to carry any other eqipment anymore
If it's really proven that it works properly, I could be weak and transfer some of my beer money to buy a dexter. -
das Winkelkabel ist sogar AWG27
American Wire Gauge, abgekürzt AWG. Hat was mit den Drahtstärken bei Litzen bzw massiven elektrischen Leitungsdrähten zu tun.

I won
I have spared my liver a few beers

I found this thread on TGP:
update:
The thread was revealing. It was said that even for electric guitars with piezzos a significant improvement of sound can be achieved.
Thus, the possibility seems to be to make profiles of each setting.
It's interesting but at the moment a little bit to expencive.
I think I'll continue try to squeeze Armins accoustic profiles even more.
Maybe with formant setting or so i can reach a further improvement. -
I use a Gibson Les Paul Standard (Jimmy Page 1995) in treble position,
Did you also try clean sence with an higher value, while set the distorted sence to -3 .

Sharry, I'm a TGP member but the link works even if I'm not sign in...
Now it works - dont ask me why.
It was the same mouse I used for openingThank

I found this thread on TGP:
Thanks for the link.
It seems it needs to be a member.
I have not found anything. The surch function is not available. -
What is the difference between Pedal Mode 1 and Pedal Mode 2
I think the signal pegel when you hit the pedal to maximum.
I some Pedals the Potis is connected in another way. -
guys...thanks to all for your help. but you are sharing your help with a stupid, which is me: wingman was right, the wrong port. I did plug the usb on the rj45. no wonder why it was so loosen.
You a not the one and only . Also I had one sleepless night for it

check every time clean sense input and distorted sense input and they're always at 0.0 dB. Where's that distortion coming from?
I have set my Distortion sense to - 3 db , because I had same Problem.
Now I can play clean with some power and also with higher gain. -
I'm wondering who would use it?
I have a 2 Lowden with contact micro inside.
Works with the Kemper very well. I canceled the ccoustic amp in my life set up.
I added a power bridge from fishman including a piezo pickup in my Strat.
In the rock band is no need for complex acoustic work. The strat with fishman bridge is quite good enough for strumming chords.
So I need not to carry a second guitar (except one as backup)
If the tone can be improved - why not think about? -
1- Send a wave file of the electric guitar into the Guitar input, and
2- Send a wave file of an acoustic guitar playing the exact same part into the Microphone input.Well If I understand well, you gave a hint to handle the dexter for learning the tone?
To play the same part with different 2 guitars - is it possible ? (I think to be in phase?)
My curiosity is not big enough to spend 600 Bucks to give it a tryBut maybe your proposal has to be understand in another way?
-
From my reading you have to use the guitar itself to get best results. In the ''learning'' process the system will listen to the miced guitar in the same time than the piezo then translate the mic tone to the piezo.
I know that Soundside have some acoustic guitars images for Kemper, which are more like Aura images, I don't know what is the exact process he used to make the profiles. But the difference with Dexter Pro is that the result is optimise for your piezo system and your guitar.Similar I had understood. I do not think it would be the same as to play the original guitar.
But something must come out
For this I am curious. Depends on what information the Dexter need to produce a tone.BTW : I have the acoustic pack from Soundside and I use it. It's pretty good but the better is the enemy of the good, even it is not the best
