Use a gate in the front stomp section and one in the effects loop for rhythm and remove the gate and lower it in the stomp section for leads. The global gate has some weird side effects.

The explanation makes sense but on a quick turn the volume up or down on a live show its really confusing. I know of no other amp or modeler that does this and it makes it confusing for quick changes live or practice. Could there be an option to have this on or off like they did with the new tuner? Plus its been the same way release after release to have this change out of no where is kinda.... Its not big deal in the grand scheme of things. And Kemper can do what they want I will still love mine just kinda it was changed like that and no way to put it back to the way it was other then reloading an older update.

I ran into the same issue. Im used to a 1-10 scale. When the volume goes up the number increases not decreases to a negative number. This makes it confusing and hard to keep track of volumes for live practice home etc. This is the first amp I have seen turning the volume up equal to a negative number.

Is there a way to go between the old and new values? Like the way the tuner was introduced with the option to go back to the old look and feel? Its confusing. It gets really confusing when you have negative numbers. The majority of amps start at 0 and work up to 10 or 11

Does anyone know how to change the master volume level display to the way it was before the new full release? Instead of master volume = 6.5 etc its listed as negative numbers -14.5

The latest beta release is supposed to improve it some but I still notice a small lag threw me off enough to just manually tune down,.

I see it too. The blinking doesn't seem to affect the remote usability but its troublesome since this didn't happen before the 5.2 release

It came down to Gravity sunrise 1.5 and the primetone 1.3 primetone wins hands down. Amazing pick lasts along time and feels right to me. I have way to many picks now I need to have a pick sell

Any pointers on how to clear up latency when using transpose to go down a half step? I noticed with (smooth..) turned on I could feel it more but other then that it has a slight lag compared to transpose being turned off. I saw some users rig rundowns using the digitech drop pedal. Transpose is first in the signal chain.

Ill look into the manual more but what do you mean by set it up as clean or distorted? I want it to go before it hits the amp for my distorted profiles and leave it out for my clean profiles.

Is it possible to assign the effects loop to one of the stomp slots (ABCD) in front of the amp. I have a maxon OD808x that I want to pull in and out of the signal chain. I know there is one built into the kemper but I like this pedal a little more.

The midi assignments are in the m9 manual.

I thought I was done buying picks, I need to quit reading this forum Just ordered some gravity picks and some John Petrucci dunlop pics.

I put the new update on last night. Works perfectly. It seems like the Wah/expression into the kemper remote is allot smoother now The lag disappeared!!

If im not using rig manager do you think I should update or stay at the last update? Is this one problematic? I noticed by accidentally updating to the beta that my expression pedal was reacting allot faster then it previously was. I dont know if this is just me or if updates to the wah expression pedal were made. I went back to the last full release but kinda nervous about updating to this release after reading through this thread.

I had mulitple usb's because I've had one fail in the past. I usally dont sync the kemper to my pc but use a usb to transfer profiles. I meant to say USB thumb drive and not usb drive.
