Salut,

Check also that you browse all cabs and not only rig ones, there should be a knob somewhere to select this...
-
Did you check that the LINE/INST switch on the Focusrite is set to LINE ?
Also check the CAB simulation is ON on the Kemper Output you use to send the signal to the 2i4.If you use only one XLR cable, you won't have any stereo effect either. If you only use one, you should set the output accordingly (to send mono signal and not only one side of a stereo one).
-
Yes, I don't know where I read it was a 2i2.
The solo is...solo.
And you're right: direct monitor = ON.
-
In Tuner mode : uncheck Tuner@Volume 0.
-
In System menu, page 7, choose your Function to Wah pedal.
And in same menu, page 5, WahPedal > Pitch.
Your mission should then never control volume, but will controll wah or ("and" actually I guess) Pitch.
-
Now I don't about the "best" way to connect the Kemper to Focusrite and KRK, but the easiest it: Guitar cable into the Kemper, main out (two TR cables if you want to be stereo in your Daw) to the two TR input of the Focusrite.
Then Focusrite RCA out to KRK.Configure your DAW, that's all.
You can also try the "direct monitor" = off to get no latency. But... looses stereo with this 2i2 model I think (the 2i4 seems to be able to keep it). -

This may also help:

You can also go for the unpowerded and buy one of those camplifiers later if/when needed.
Don't really know about them as I don't own one, but you should be able to find some reviews somewhere ? -
I guess every guitar cab needs this kind of power.
You could try to plug directly the output of the (unpowered, to not harm the head) Kemper straight into your Orange head. -
What would you think the Powered Kemper is for ?
-
If your Kemper is unpowered, you will need a power amp.
Camplifier or Matrix or anything else.
Or you could get a powered speaker (FRFR) like the DXR10, Matrix, CLR,... but those are not "real" cab. -
Should be this :
get the pack for $5 using code "TRADEMARK" -
Don't you have the option on the right of the button with "All Rigs" etc named "Sorted by Name" ?
There you should choose Sorting : By name, By author, By Date, by Amp/Cab or by Gain.
In the Kemper itself. -
I don't about the autobackup, but i did install a fresh RM from a backup file created with the backup function and it woked perfectly for what I remember.
You could try it ?
Or if you still can laucnh RM with your old system, create a "real" backup file to load... -
-
An expression pedal works just like any analog Wah or volume pedal, but is made for digital devices. It only needs one cable with a stereo jack (TRS jack).
Donc 1, en tout cas c'est comme ça que je branche la mienne.
Après je ne sais pas comment fonctionne les pédales d'expressions avec switch on/off en plus. -
You could maybe plug your headphone directly in the output of the Kemper (or one of main output, I don't have the powered one), set to mono.
-
I personnaly use both to get stereo.
One would work but you won't get the stereo effects from the Kemper (delays, reverbs,...)
