.typical G string tuning
I have (censored) ahem! ... a number of Gibsons and none of them have this problem. No gadgets, just a matter of cutting the nut properly - It'll be fine!

Did anyone else notice a popping sound ?
With the new reverbs I sometimes get this popping sound (with each pop, I get the full reverbation). It disappears when I switch of the reverb.
Yes, but only when I was overdoing it with multiple reverbs to try and recreate a DSP error that Finally mentioned. It sounded like a switch popping and being magnified by the excessive reverbs. Like you, I found it went away when switching off the latest re
Yep, listened to all of that! (a good sign!)
then why not go even lower?
True, I could turn them to zero I suppose, but then I'd have the rigmarole of raising and lowering the lights at boot up simply see if it is 'on'.
Also, noted on 'Don' - my apologies.
FWIW, I like the light show too, but it's not all about Rock 'n Roll
It isn't as simple as unscrewing the pilot light on an old Fender amp, is it?
I used to put electrical tape on mine! I could use covers - once I'm set up and playing, I don't have time to fiddle about
The board isn't so bad although there is a blue light from above which dulls the effect!
I'll revert to the latest full release until the new one comes out to avoid any more damage to the brand amongst my music circle. My main concern is that this ends up being a show-stopper due to a fundamental technical limit.
A wise move. I think I'll leave my 'live KPA' as it is (previous beta) and play around with my studio version. I've just run 7 reverbs (X slot is to my HXFX) without problem. I have had DSP issues before (a while ago) but that was related to MIDI (I don't use the remote)
Thanks don, that's helpful. That said, even with everything down to '3', it's still quite visible in the dark. A soft 'kill' switch on System page 2 would be handy!
Finally Which days/revs are you using? ... I'll give 'em a spin and see what happens
This would be a useful feature for me. I often work in shows where there is a DBO - Dead Black Out - all lights off, except of course for the Kemper! I do think that the energy saved would be minimal though.
there seem to be a few of these around .... Ready made - cut into a speaker cab? - just a thought
That being said the power amp in my Powerhead doesn’t seem to be able to push my cabs as much as a 40 watt brownface bandmaster so not sure what I am doing wrong.
Have you tried the Power amp boost (soft switch in the output section) ?
Are you sure about that?

Replied to the thread FW 5.7.0.14099 Public Beta Feedback Thread.
the MIDI program change info is only displayed when no Remote is connected.
That's why I always see it (if/when I look, that is) - I have only used MIDI controllers
Ih have noticed that the MIDI bank and program change is no longer displayed in the performance mode. Is this a bug or intended?
My MIDI numbers are still there so I don't think its either a bug or intentional. I don't see the 'SE' either, only the MIDI incoming signal.
Freeze is MIDI control change # 35. Any value toggles. It affects both delay and reverb effects.
It still affects Delays but doesn't appear to affect the reverb freeze (with reverb in its own slot or loaded into the delay slot)
Yeah - it says it's busy doing something when I try to shut it down, but otherwise no way to know what it's doing. As an IT person I really dislike it when software doesn't give any visual clue as to what it's doing.
Keep an eye on the number of rigs on the exchange. It's small but a visual clue as to what RM is up to
Same here.
It can be turned on/off with CC 28 (via MIDI)
Shares in Kleenex will be on the up!
Turn off the cab sim in the monitor output and you're good to go!
