I guess it's the same case for output presets
Yes indeed - useful for eq'ing different speakers etc.

Broen ... The Bridge, a (brilliant IMHO) Danish TV series about about a body found exactly in the middle of the Øresundsbroen. The Danish police had to collaborate with the Swedish police to solve the case. I was over there last week and it sprung to mind when I read your posts. Whacky, I know!
Better go before the OT police arrive! Skål!
Interesting! ... I updated and immediately ran into a MIDI problem, no patch changes! All CCs working but Kemper stayed resolutely on bank 1 Patch 1 regardless of what was sent from my pedal (decibel eleven SwitchDR)
SOLUTION: Simple ... a reboot of Kemper and panic over. I was seconds away from opening a ticket to HQ when I thought of that one ... 'Back on yer 'eads!'
After saving your preset in Browser, go to Perform and select the target slot (using rig buttons) then use the Browse knob (R of screen) to find your preset. Press flashing Load button and you're there. Remember to Save before moving to another performance (you can flick back and forth to Browser without loss but then you can just as easily Browse within the slot)
Like @MetalMauce, I use various output settings for (3) different cabs. I can't remember where I got the info from and you are right, @evilevoix, there is scant information in the reference manual.
There is, however, mention of both the input and output settings in the Basics & Profiling Guide (I only know that because I've just looked!)
I use ACOUSTIC SIM (title in capitals - not shouting!) by Arkhipower from the Rig Exchange with an Epiphone Emperor (Joe Pass) semi. With a bit of tweaking (in my case, rolling the bass off) it does a great job. It gets a bit thin with a Strat but still works well in a mix.
I do realize any tweaking I do to get the K10 to sound good will have to be done again with any new speaker.
Your best bet here would be to create and save an output profile for each of your speakers that you might use.
That way you won't mess up the front end of your profiles too much.
Don't get too hung up on Guitar vs FRFR. If it sounds good to you, it doesn't matter what it is!
The Local Library is for Rigs stored on your Computer as opposed to those online (Rig Exchange) and those in your Kemper (My Profiler) You can create folders, drag and drop to and from and generally organise rigs.
Drag rigs from Rig Exchange that you like and when you are offline you can still access them for use in the Kemper. I mainly store commercial rigs in it. HTH
But how I get the ones I like imported into the KPA?
Drag and drop them on to 'My Profiler'
V. nice, thank you!
There are a couple of AER 60 profiles on the Rig Exchange which might suffice. They certainly sound like my AER 60 - full range and neutral, as designed for acoustic instruments.
Do you need to hear both while recording?
Record each on it's own track and mute one , monitor one. Afterwards, you can mix and nudge to your heart's content!
Buy cheap ... buy twice!
Has anybody tried the Loop Flair stomp?
This is in Version 2.0.19 (12892):
A fishy bag? Good for you if it works! The Kemper bag has had some complaints already.
Probably just Carping!
IGMC!
It's a Marsh Amps clone of a Fender Champ. (the Mars is misleading as he usually uses that to refer to Marshall amps)
It's from the BOC (Box of Chocolates) pack
All very nice
Off topic and apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but....
The stand that Ruben is using in this video for the Kemper toaster..... what is it? I'm redoing my little bat cave of noise at the moment and something like that might come in very handy
I asked him about this (for the same reason) some time ago. It's a stock HIFI speaker stand. He seemed to be quite happy with
I ran into a similar issue on a gig on Sunday. Sudden loss of volume (zero) and an unresponsive Volume pedal.
Setup: Pigtronix dual pedal via Planet Waves Stereo cable into Sw/Pedal socket 2 - Mode 1 (Powerhead on latest Beta - I like to live on the edge!)
On the gig I fixed it by unplugging / replugging at the pedal end.
In my studio this morning, I had another go and reproduced the issue by rotating (not removing) the jack at the pedal end. The calibration bar goes to zero and stays there. Further rotations don't reconnect.
I’ve held the jack still while rotating the cable, to test for a dodgy cable but that doesn’t do it.
Additionally by plugging the Planet waves cable into a short adapter cable (Stereo line socket to right angled jack - cheap stuff - Maplin) and then rotating the the right angled jack in the pedal socket - no problem at all. Similarly, rotating the Waves jack in the line socket - no problem.
I have run similar tests on two other cable with no problems.
So, all eyes turn to the Planet Waves cable but this tests as AOK with a cable tester. I don’t know if it is one of their ‘directional’ cables i.e. shield connected at only one end so I did reverse it for the tests but no difference was noted.
All very odd (and long winded)!
My solution - try / use other cables - there is a difference. (Capacitance?)
