Have you tried upgrading via Rig Manager (you'll need the latest version of that as well)?
-
Latest rigs I can see are from 2017.02.20, but that's only three days ago. There are similar gaps elsewhere in RM
-
Me too. Getting a mixture of instant crash and the beachball. I've flagged this one up with support.

Hopefully the team are working on a motion sensor so that when someone (inadvertently or otherwise) knocks the Kemper, It'll produce a noise like thunder!
After years of that (Fender Twin & Deluxe) and then a long period of using non reverb amps (Boogie, Marshall), I can't say I miss the spring.
Just my two penn'orth! -
Sell More will be Selmer - My old guitar teacher had the Zodiac Twin Thirty Truvoice Croc Skin model (45 years ago!)
Baldringer - Behringer (something like a podRivera - Rivera(!) Left Fender to do his own thing. Early hot rodder.

Hi @Geraldo7
Off the top of my head I would have said "Leslie" but its not quite that. Then ...
I had a bit of a fish around and found this in an article:
What Zakk Wylde Uses
- Gibson Les Paul Zakk Wylde Signature
- Marshall JCM800 Amp Heads
- Dunlop Zakk Wylde Signature Wah
- Boss CH-1 Super Chorus
- Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive
- Dunlop Rotovibe
- EVH Phase 90
... so i'm guessing it's the Rotovibe.
I'd have a mess around with the various rotary stomps and also (from memory of the real thing!) check the vintage chorus (sounds like a Boss CE-1) but set on a high speed. The original had a Leslie-esque (but not quite) vibe to it.
caveat - haven't tried this but will when I get near the box!

Poofteenth - "half a bee's dick" New one on me! ... bit like "A cat's cock hair", then

Great idea!
Though (thinking about it) perhaps we are all a little bit eager to help when, in the most recent edition of tail chasing, there was no actual evidence (i.e registration) that the person involved even had a Kemper.
Presence in the private forum is, in itself, proof of passage ... just a thought.

Well, fingers crossed on that!
Folders: You'll need to create you own sub folders by right clicking on 'A' folder and using 'Add Folder'

Just tried to update looked like it went well but it just froze on the " Kemper Profiler" screen and stayed there, tried to power off, wont shut down, now what? pull the power cord out?
,Yes, that's the next step. When you say it 'froze', how long are we talking about? I only ask because, when I updated it took an age (went and made tea!) before finally starting up.

Besides this, we shouldn't have to wear our Preset knobs out and waste our time scrolling... and scrolling...you can alleviate 'knob wear' (!) by using the rig buttons to move around the presets ... seems to be quicker too ... (goes to uncheck autoload)

But if you play very precise, fast passages, especially quasi-muted runs or fast repetitious patterns,,etc, then latency can be maddening.I'd love to hear one of these passages ...

Nice selection of sounds. work well with my Gibson J100 + Baggs LB6 + Micro-drive. Looking forward to trying my other acoustics. Nice work @breu

Ok, what is it that makes the 425 so much more comfortable? They look very similar in pictures..
Sorry it's taken so long ... "Stricken with the Lurgi!" The casings do indeed look similar but the 425s are angled slightly leading the wires away from the ears. It's small but does make a difference.

Good question ... I'll compare them when I get to the gig (this afternoon) Off the top of my head the 425s don't have that "There's something stuck in my ear" feeling ... I may have used different buds, in which case the 215s could be altered with a different bud!
-
I am quite happy with my shure se215 but when I look at what you are talking about the are probably way too low-end for you guys.
Don't knock it! ... the 215s are fine. When the cable went on mine (still works but scruffy - will probably replace and keep as spare) I bought a set of 425s which did improve the sound (only slightly) but the comfort went up dramatically.

I'm using a Palmer Macht 402 (Thomann) which seems to be pretty good. In fairness, I haven't wound it up too much as my speakers are only 30w but it sounds clean. It does have a fan which might be intrusive for very low level recording work
-
Doh! ... sorry about that. No idea why I missed the link. Anyway, glad you got there in the end!

Have a look at this thread, particularly @paults post (4 down) - Should give you a few ideas!
