What do you think the Feature Requests section of this forum is here for? Decoration?
FYI - This bulk of this thread (so far - no doubt it'll whinge on for a while) began in Question and Answers. I agree with unclemar - forgive us for sharing an opinion
I picked up a Sheraton (Epi) and loaded it with the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker set. (I found the originals were a bit woolly ). This worked well though I did have a dead spot on middle C (G string 5th fret). I was almost resigned to this (the gtr was cheap) but a YouTube vid had me loosen and retighten the truss rod which cured the problem (!). So, a very usable all rounder in the armoury.
Previously, I've owned and played other 335s and never really liked them but I need something lightweight and slim for a pit guitar.
I was originally on the lookout for a Korean (Samick factory) model but retailers had cottoned on and the prices were higher. This one is Chinese and is of a similar standard to my Samick factory Epiphone Joe Pass (which is very nice).
One morph for gain,ODs,eq..the other for delay/reverb mix..
This, for me too!
I'm used to seeing flashing lights in my rear view mirror.
One of nature's laxatives!
This could be a contrast/brightness adjustment - I don't have a remote so you'll have to consult the manual for further instructions.
When I have all the girls dancing all the boys show up.
... and at the end of the night when the lights came up, I saw the look of horror on the guys' faces! #exitstageleft
Isn't that a resistance (DC) vs impedance (AC) issue?
I have both and and I run a Dry(Kone) / Wet (FX12) setup and it work really well! I bought the FX12 first and it was too wide range on it own but it handles the 'wet' stuff really well. As for the Kone, I think it's brilliant!
Installed and working. Still an 'airgap' when in Performance Mode (there has been for some time) ... I'll send in a(nother) video soon
Hi Yoda Guitar
I've just checked - It's a release with bug fixes etc, and it looks like a preparation for a new operating system!
You are quite right - it doesn't appear on the website.
Display MoreAre 1/4'' TRS - 1/4" TRS Unbalanced all I need? (Two for L and R channels). No Spdif on my interface.
1/4" TS (mono guitar cables) X2 are all you need - from KPA to Instrument inputs
Do I need a special USB cable to hook the Kemper to a computer for Rig Manager or Backups?
A N Other USB cable will do, Careful you don't plug it into the Ethernet port!
(Yes, I have done this when not watching what I was doing)
Arrives today in a couple of hours!
Enjoy ... make sure you eat from time to time!
Sounds like there's also a bottleneck involved, which will alter the tone. This will put a little edge back on the rolled back tone (as above)
Now THAT brings back memories!
Not half! ... I've still got the vinyl of that one somewhere (I think ) ... Loved the track 'Parents '
Lovely stuff!
'Why change guitars?' ... 'Because I can!'
More!
I had this when I first loaded the 8.0.0.2 (etc) Beta. With subsequent restarts it hasn't reappeared. If it persists, contact support - there's a link below ...
It does appear at screen bottom of the editor.
Yes, but only when you first load it from RM. Save the profile, move away and come back and the generic Kemper Drive returns.
Unless I'm missing something, the one improvement I'd like ASAP is when you've loaded a preset for Kemper Drive, the preset name you used is nowhere to be found. Meaning - if I load a Klon preset and come back to that rig in the future - I can't see what 'pedal' that specific Kemper Drive is set to (or started out as before editing).
Agreed ... there is a brief appearance of a name in RM (bottom row on left) when selecting from presets but after saving and returning to the profile, it reverts to the generic Kemper Drive or Full OC. I think there is an 'air gap' between RM and said bottom row as it also doesn't correctly reflect the name of the amp module when changes are made via MIDI ... However, I note that the little house (Home) icon has now been connected
How does changing the Delay/Reverb mix knob setting in the Rig menu affect the issue? It seems to me that the series/parallel ability of that parameter, combined with a distortion that has its own mix control could provide complex harmonic (ans un-harmonic) distortion, especially if it is being driven by an amp module that has gain.
Toggling the parallel path button (either on or off) allows a few seconds of 'normal' before the 'ring mod' kicks in. Backing off the parallel mix to -5 kills it and the OC altogether. This is with a relatively clean amp (Vibroverb) up front.
hi everyone, after 3 seconds my Full OC becomes an effect similar to the ring modulator impossible to play, how can I tell the kemper team?
maybe timo ?
i know it is a beta, i am testing
I've had this when I've inadvertently loaded the drive into a delay slot as well as one of the ABCD slots
EDIT: after further testing, it only seems to be the Full OC that causes the Ring Mod effect and only in the Delay or Reverb slots.
