I got a pair of Yamaha HS5's and love them.

My go to profile for live and recording currently. Love them

Reamping is nice but I am old school. Kemper straight into an Apollo into Logic. If I decide I don't like the takes later I just re-record it. Keeping it simple.

I was just mulling over the same question. I would like to know as well.

Just reporting back on my issue... I installed the latest release versions of Rig Manager and the Kemper OS. I locked everything but the cabinet in the editor section and the cabinets do not change when dragging and dropping profiles onto the cabinet icon in the editor. I am looking at the cab name in the bottom left of the editor and I do not hear a change in the sound of the cabinet when doing the so I amuse it is not working.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Ok great thanks! It seemed a bit buggy. It failed to change the cabinet at times. I’ll make sure I have the amp section locked.

Hello. I have the same question but I am struggling with changing cabinets in the new Rig Manager 3 beta. I have all the latest beta update for the Kemper and Rig Manager. I have been able to load IR's but I was wondering how to audition cabinets from other profiles. I drag and dropped a different profile onto the Amp section in RM and it either doesn't change the cabinet, or it does change it but then you can't change it after that. It is stuck... Same with IR's.
Is there a correct way to audition cabs only from a variety of profiles within Rig Manager? Or do the cabs need to be converted to a preset like the IR's? Thanks in advance for any help!

i must admit by themselves these sound awsome but did not work well in a mix when i tried. Most profiles have a lot of noise. Using the gate the noise is still in the chords causing clutter. The ribboned one suffers least. Its the most mix ready that i found. So thats my fav from the pack. I also just purchased the fortin american metal classics. Hoping those are more mix ready.
I haven't gotten around to recording with them yet. I geeked out to them in headphones with my Ibanez Universe for a week or two. I will try recording some tracks to see. Thank for the tip

Its funny how we all experience tone in a different way. I decided to purchase this pack last night and instantly found 10-12 profiles that were great, with almost no tweaking at all. Im super happy with the purchase! The only thing I would say is that there is not a lot of different tones (which is somewhat obvious) but this is not an amp built for maximum versatility. It does heavy very well
I love the Sinmix stuff too and have purchased many of his packs. It is all subjective for sure.

I don’t even know where to begin with these... absolutely unreal crushing tones in this pack. All merged. Quality micing, profiles done by jocke himself. This is what quality profiles sound like in my opinion. These sound like something you would get when doing profiles with a big engineer. If you have actives, have fun with this one. Just absolutely crushing. More later.
I finally bought these profiles and could not agree more. So great

I must say I was disappointed at first with my live rig sound compared to my sound at home. It has taken me a while to adjust to that but now I love it. It is sounding better to my ears than before. Part of that I think was the adjustment from real amps to digital. Another part was simplifying things and deciding what profiles worked best for me in a live rig. There are so many great profiles! It can be overwhelming searching for your perfect tone and that search will probably continue to evolve but I can’t imagine going back to amps now. The Kemper is just fantastic. No regrets here.

+1 on the Wah Community Pack! I chose to just go analog in instead of SPDIF because of fewer cables. If I don't like my tones, I just re-track it like the old days.

I have looked at this thread for the last year and finally loaded them onto my Kemper. Out of the box with no tweaking, I loaded the Kirk Hammett wah and recorded some solos and it sounds incredible! Thanks so much!!!

My pleasure! I do like the subtle variances between the profiles.

The STL Lasse Lammert Pack has some great high gain profiles. I am a big fan of Sinmix, Reampzone and the other guys mentioned previously. The Lars Luettge pack is great and Thumas has some killer profiles on Rig Exchange. So many great profiles to choose from...

Hi all.
I bought this pack sight unseen just because I am a fan of his profiles and it does not disappoint! Some really great high gain profiles.

I have a Gemini 2 and can confirm it is very clear and LOUD. Downright painful above 50% volume.

Welcome! The Ola and Lasse profiles are great indeed.

Here is my new rig. I dig the Mission Engineering rack head. Still working out the kinks.

Welcome Jonathan!
