Are there any samples that are not in a mix?

With no EQ I got some grainy mutes, but when I turned on the EQ in the X slot it really shined!
Hmm, i'm using my X slot locked for external FX. What do people normally use for external fx loop?

Excellent keep them coming
I think others bashing of the $40 profile has been beaten to death at this point though, either people will buy it or not, i don't know why people get so worked up about it. It's economics, let him find his sweetspot of what the market will bear.

I want to record my whole signal stereo and using the stereo loop and some real pedals, but i also want to record a direct signal for reamping later. Can I do this? It seems from the manual Guitar Analog can only be used from the Direct Output, but i need that for the send of my external FX.
Thanks

Yes I did. But didn't include it to this pack since it was kinda similar to Fat ch. But I can post it here in a couple of days with the update.
Cool, will defer to your decision You know the head intimately now i assume. I only was able to try it for 15 mins in a store once.

Did you make any cleans with the EQ on? I found when playing one at the store turning the EQ on the clean channel made a great punchy fender twin-y type clean...

After scrapping the EVH profiles for the third time, I decided to try an MXR graphic in the loop.
Pulled 6dB at 1K and there is a complete transformation !
Gone is the half open wah mid range that has been driving me mad.
Trying the juggle the treble and presence controls to get the mids and high end right was driving me mad.
I cannot believe how much better this amp sounds with he EQ in the loop.
I can finally get the EVH finished now and move onto the next amp.Updated 3VH Blue Gain2TS. Please test and report back if you have time =]
https://www.dropbox.com/s/77wt…5-09%2021-56-22.kipr?dl=0Previously i've been noticing that in some profiles i've bought (or demos) recently that initially i liked it but after listening back i notice a bit of a cocked wah sound...i wonder if that's something a bit off with the profiling process for certain amp types. I haven't had a chance to try your sample yet, hopefully can try tonight.

Ditto, i like this pack as well.

Do you have the profiles with those settings in your pack? what are the names?

I've been trying not to buy anything since i'm still on the fence with the Kemper vs getting one really nice Amp, but it's hard to resist and i want to show some support so i'll probably pick this up tomorrow.
I've been eyeing the Brown Eye pack from @sinmix too for a long time (did pick up the Firebird which i like)

Thanks. I gave them a quick go (only in headphones unfortunately). The low end is a bit more clean, it's still really high gain at least on my EMG's, i can try another pickup tomorrow. I'll also let you know what i think it sounds like when i hear what i played through my car (where i can tell better than the headphones). Do you have any clips of the actual amp recorded for comparison to the profiles you recorded?
I tried these again with my Ernie Ball Silhouette Special and the gain (for this type of sound) was not too hot. My old Ibanez that i put EMG's in is too hot i think I need to lower the pickups or something they are almost touching the strings Also that "clipping sound" is not from your profile it seems to be a little bit of popping/clicking sound mostly between my Ernie Ball SS and the Kemper, i'll have to investigate that more (it's in a lot of other profiles too).
Thanks again!

Thanks! Let me know what you think. I'm open to trying any suggestions you guys have.

Excellent thanks, I'll try it!!
Did you try this? I'm in this situation, i took an OWNHammer folder i had and copied a bunch of cabs on my Kemper and now it's so tedious to scroll through. On top of that you can't really read the display so i have no idea what i'm picking, just trying to choose by ear from all these cabs with the same name. I want to remove everything and start over.

Thanks. Can't wait to try these tonight, i'm a fan of your profiles!

Nope, without backing track after all if someone ask you man how it sound? You need to post something in a whole context (mix) if you are not a noob, then everyone can hear how the guitar fit in the mix etc... if you are noob you can post just guitar sample * yes can sounds good) but without comparison i can say only how they are played IMO. At the end guitar, amp can sounds good alone but in the mix or with band can sound shitty.
Stay Metal!Depends on what the person who purchases is looking for. If it's someone that is most likely playing/jamming by themselves or in a live band situation I think they mostly want to just hear the guitar and what it sounds like alone. If there goal is mainly for recording and releasing songs then they want to hear it in the mix. Personally, 95% of the time i just want to hear the guitar track by itself and what it would sound like when i'm just playing.

I like the sound of it. The default gain is maybe a tad bit too high and the only bad thing is it seems to get some digital artifacts like clipping sounds even when it's not clipping, could be my guitars or setup though??

This is an excellent profile. Too many profiles have either off-axis mics or something a bit out of phase but this one is really in your face and sounds great. Thanks.

Friedman Dirty Shirley/Steve Stevens/JJ, Lazy J 20, Cameron CCV, marshall jcm800 jose mod (I know they've been done at least once but different people make them sound different).
