I would go the trial & error way. Just order a Celestion F12 at Thomann, maybe with a Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170, and put the F12 in the Thiele cab. If it sounds good for you, you can sell the EVM12L, not the cab. If it doesn't sound right, return the F12. You have a 30-days money back guarantee so why not use that to make your trial & error cheap and easy?

Seymour Duncan Phat Cat's.

Try a pair of Seymour Duncan Phat Cat's. It will open up your mahogany axe very nicely.

On my wishlist and it'll be mine this year for sure: Claas Moby Dick PL Walnut: Claas Moby Dick

Wow!! Pitty you don't have your DXR-10 anymore to compare.......
-
About the Kemper speaker I only read:
- I think
- Would be
- Could be
- I (don't) believe
- Looks like
- Probably
- More than likely
- I'm assuming
............................................ a lot of hearsay and nobody really knows

Small follow-up. My Stageclix Jack V4 is for sale. I just ordered a brand new V3! The V3 receiver has a smaller footprint (not 1/3 19") and will fit on my "floorboard" perfectly. So it isn't necesarry to put my rack next to me anymore.
-
Not quite.
Those systems "emulate" the entire guitars they offer as models, whereas this attempts to approximate only pickups.
Ah, okay. Like the pickup simulator in Boss GTxxxx, but with more possibilities?
Wait, it's more like the Ernie Ball Game Changer!

I think in 90% of all cases, the KPA will do the job very well. But if you are in the 10% ballpark, nothing beats a full tube amp + 4x12 cab. Good luck!!
PS. I don't own a KPA anymore but I'm still active on this great forum.......

Line6 Variax or Roland V-guitar in a box, with the exception of a hexaphonic pick-up?
-
In that case I would go for a good Sennheiser of Shure radio system. Good luck!
-
Nope. I've given up the whole FRFR-quest. It always is a compromise.
For me a good set of in-ears and the knowledge that my guitarsound is great through the PA is more than enough for me.
In some cases I pull out my two Mesa Thiele cabs (both with EVM12L) and a Seymour Duncan PowerStage 700 and hook up the GT-1000.

Glad you said that because that was one of my queries....is there a rack pack ( which I don't think there is. I'm interested now!!
No, there is not.
-
Ohhhh let me know how you get on!
What can I say........ it's plug & play. Very easy to use. I like the most that charging is just a matter of pushing the bug into the receiver. No more batteries to worry about. The batterystatus is very well visible on the receiver, I've missed that since I stepped down from the G90 to the G50.
One thing: the receiver is 1U high and has a width of 1/3 19", but there are no rack-accesories. So I will velcro the receiver into my rack and I've ordered a SMA-cable to put the antenna on the front. I will post some pictures next week.

Ever tried a Fender Blues Deluxe or Matchless Chieftain? Both are 40 watts but if you crank them to the max, bleeding ears are guaranteed. So it’s totally BS if a venue tells you to limit your output to 40 watts.
And yes, the Kemper has a built in W.A.D. (Wattage Adjusting Device): you can find it on the front panel, it’s a round knob that says “Master Volume”.

I really hope they are/remain in business as I like the unit. You gonna take a punt at one??
Just bought a second hand Stageclix Jack V4, will arive this week.

DML apparently stageclix they have gone into liquidation!
Check the (new) StageClix site!! New site, all kinds of new products, new email address. That would be a lot of fuzz when they're trying to hide their liquidation, wouldn't it?

hey man my smoothhound classic is on its way. It works with AAA batteries. That looks hard to find in lithium ion rechargeable type. Do you have a link to recommend ? Cheers
Please, take some time to post a nice review.
I just sold my Line6 Relay G50 (my second one, previous had a G90, overall it's my fourth TPB12 beltpack). Not sure if I'll be back on wireless but the Smooth Hound looks interesting.

That's exactly what I was thinking, I've replied this to Stageclix as well.
From Thomann:
"We did not hear anything of this, sorry but I can´t tell you if this is wrong or right. Nevertheless Stageclix is state of the art in this kind of wireless sets, there is nothing like this in that quality available from other distributors."
Still no satisfying answer........
