Sounds great. Great idea. I didn't realize you could do this. What profiles did you use? And did you use liquid profiling with Fender Tweed type to make the morphing work? I find sometimes moving that much in the gain department can have mixed results. Thanks. Very cool.

Thought this was an interesting boost strategy using pedal in the loop pre-amp section but post compression (for example).

I've been working to tune rigs at home using my Kemper rack and Atomic CLR wedge. I really like what I am getting. The problem is that when I play live, things sound very different (harsh) in my IEMs (Future Sonic G10s) through the Aviom system (we are going all-direct with no on-stage speakers). I am coming to the conclusion that it must be my IEMs or the Aviom unit. The G10s aren't cheap necessarily but the aren't an expensive, custom set either. So my question is, what IEMs do you recommend? I've been reading up on the Westone UM Pro 50 which looks like a good step up. Others in the sub $1000 range? Worth the investment? Thanks.

Yes... I was not able to find the exact AWG either. I submitted a request for information and willl let you know what I find out. With AWG, smaller is thicker. I believe these are much lower (better) than 24 AWG. Here are links to the 200 ft version. I only have experience with the shorter version.

Heard back from GLS... the cable is 23AWG, with 0.61mm copper wire.

Thanks for the answer. My question was the thickness of cores (AWG) - this I did not find in the spec.
The cable thickness do not give an information for that because it mainly depend on isiolation and shield.
    According Kemper Manual a AWG24 cable should not extend 7,5 m .
With thinner cable the maximal cable lenght decrease.
How did you make a quick scan that it looks like to be able for up to 200 feet?

Hi everyone. I've been lurking here since the summer when I bought my Kemper rack and remote. I have to say, it is an impressive piece of guitar innovation. And I am also impressed by the community, its generosity, and the advice on this forum. Thanks everybody.

Most of my music and writing now is as a worship leader for the church. I had given up on digital modeling (primarily Line 6) due to the artifacts I was hearing live. So I went back to a set up with my Fender Strat to my Carr Mercury amp with an EL34 tube and a few quality pedals. Gotta say that little Mercury amp with the built in power attenuator sounds beautiful. BUT, we decided to go all IEMs and I needed a new direct solution... that is, without doubt, the Kemper.

I've rack mounted the Kemper with a front custom patch panel to run both my Strat pickups and the Fishman power bridge (Piezo pickup). I also patch my vocal through to a TC Helicon Voicetone for compression and dynamics. I also use the front patch panel to hook up my Kemper Remote and even my Taylor acoustic when needed. In most settings I'm running IEMs (Future Sonic G10s) but I recently added the Atomic CLR Neo Mk IIs for when I need stage volume. Love the CLR so far. I'll post pics as soon as I can figure out how to on this forum :/

I'm still getting used to working with rigs. I'm liking @lonestargtr M Britt's Rigs (many but love the Ceriatone and Dumble) and @and44 TAF Rigs (Roland Jazz Chorus). I profiled my Carr Mercury and it's close but noisy (will have to figure that out). I hope soon to also profile my Fender Vibrolux reissue and the '65 Fender Band Master. Really liking the new effects in the 5.x release as well

Well anyway... that's a long way of saying hello. Thanks again for all the great advice. I'm glad to be here with all of you.

Nice solution if you need no longer cable!.
Do you know the size of the cores.
CAT 6 cables very often has thinner cross section than CAT 5 (but better capacity-values)

@Sharry it's a thick cable. It works for me. A quick scan looks like you can get them up to 200 feet. According to their website, "Designed specifically fortouring, staging, professional sound, night clubs, concert venues, studios, and more. They are built for ease of use and built to last!".

I'm using the Pedaltrain Metro 16 bag to transport the Remote. Not sure there is any reason to mount it to the Pedaltrainboard but the dimensions are very close. I have my Profiler in a 4U rack bag.
