@skoczy: Thanks. I have seen that. I actually was 4-5 pages in. I am going to check the rest of it. I was looking for more of a "use ___ DI box because" type answer. I guess that most of them that work with the Kemper do the job well.

I am about to attempt profiling my amps. I want to direct profile them. I know that there are certain DI boxes that work and others that don't. My question is this: Will the brand or the amount of $ I spend on a DI box affect the quality of my profiles that I make? Thanks for your help.

No sound samples of each pack. No detailed description of each pack. No thank you.

Hey Welcome. I have only been here a few days and the people here have been awesome!

Thanks for the info. I may just go with the Atomic CLR over the Friedman (even though I'm a Friedman fanboi) due to the input options. If I get a powered/active version of these, does that eliminate the need for a power amp?
Thanks

The question is what´s your budget and what do you play?
Thanks to you all. So I have a tube power amp (Randall RT2/50) I also have a solid state power amp (Behringer iNuke). I have a Randall 4x12 with Greenbacks, a Randall 2x12 with Emience super vs and a Randall 2x12 with V30's. , I play mostly classic/hard rock and metal. I have plenty of $ to spend. Since I want to be able to hear the authenticity of the different cabs, etc. here's my question: Should I use what I have? Or what do I get to optimize this rig? An FRFR obviously. Which one? And is a powered one better?
Thanks to you all

Hey All,
I just got a new Kemper (unpowered) and the matching remote. I am overwhelmed by the amount of rigs and profiles available (free and for a fee). So I am searching for samples to see what seems to be best for me. I do have one question:
What would be a better combination: Kemper and a power amp? Or Kemper running into powered speakers (monitors)? Or Kemper running into a line in on an amp that I already have? Thanks in advance for your help.
