Pretty nice and authentic. Thank you very much!
Great God After playing this profile 3 hours in a row I strongly recommend you to take a kook at it.
Just wanted to see the video without any purchase intentions.. but I did.
Not because the guitar sounded brilliant. It was more like "why is this guy having so enormously fun ??"
It's a pleasure to see you playing with such a passion - very inspiring. Thank you Marco!
Hi Alexandre - a big thank for your nice rigs. I am a fan of the AT3 JH MARS+
It sounds good to me too if I change to some of Bert's cabs (Free Bert Meulendijk Rig Pack).
Mattfig was kind enough to give me his Vishnu pack. It includes 54 + 9 DI profiles of the Salvation Mods Vishnu Module.
Cabs are Bogner straight 4x12 and a Vox 2x12 and the whole thing reflects Marshall (800) and Randall (MTS) amplifiers. So it is supposed to sound like 80', early 90' oldschool Metal - Rock. I played a trusty old Yamaha RGX 621 DM with HSH alnico pickups here. Theres a lot of gain and rarely a bit to much mids and punch for my taste. It helps to reduce the gain / set an eq / change the cab to your favourite and you have a well sorted fundamental library for this style of music.
Hey Mattfig. Would be nice to have a chance to test profiles of your JJ Dirt , SS100 , Vishnu packs. Don't want to be outrageous - so send me whatever you wish to send and I will review here. THX
A few impressions.
- After intallation OS 7 erased all Snapshots / Stomps Presets / Effects Presets
- Obviously it's no longer possible to open new backupfile format with zip programs
- Unfortunately there is no way (in KPA) to see the total number of effects anymore in Preset Management.
- Am I wrong or... I imagine that behavior of Stomp Buttons was changed (?)
OS 6 - push any stomp / effect button (profiler) while another effect is in focus : new stomp turn on / off
OS 7 - push any stomp / effect button (profiler) while another effect is in focus : new stomp is now in focus
Win7
No Remote
Non powered rack KPA
I own a bunch of nice Mars packs and never wanted to buy profiles again. But the all bundle price here is ridiculous and as a fan of Marshall sounds... how can I resist. It's a joy to play with high precision fine quality profiles and cabs!
... Try this-Right click over the link, and select “save as”.
Thx Paults! Named the file as: "Henning_Cherry_Bomb_ROD_MaxS.kipr" and saved it -done!
When I click the download button (win 7 & firefox) it opens a new browser tap where I can see cryptic lines - as if I open a kipr-file in windows text editor...
Hey, you will find it on the kemper main page - manuels (last entry). MIDI Parameter Documentation (Rev. 145)
Have fun.
I am glad you share it with us and it deserves more attention, I think. Would like to see and hear more of your stuff in the future. Greetings!
Hey Webb, I just want you to know: I use your "Atomica 03 57-121" with another cab sim and this is still one of my amazing free favorite rock tones. Not only that it sounds good... just because it's so tweakable! If you thin out the sound with the volume pot. or lower the gain, the reaction of that rig is very well and sweet.
I even like it a lill' bit more than the "20 $ cameron profile". What a great work - thank you very much
That's nice of you, thx!
Sounds nice! It's easy to find good stuff. To weed out something special can be painful. So thx for the info.
That is Godi Hildmann, he profiled many of the "Marshall Amp Museum Germany" arsenal once. The "1987" was my favorite mars-sound for a long time. Now I prefer more the YJM (TopJimi) and Andy's "Gold UK" (TAF), but that's my personal taste only. You should download and test Godi's free profiles first to find out.
Hey,
the hardware pots are a weak point of the kemper. I got a similar problem with delay mix and noise gate knobs.
In the link below post #12 could be interesting ( ,or even helpful).
Now I know what's going on with the button and how to handle with cabs.
To all of you, boys: big thank for your efforts, time and clarifications!
