after Update to OS7 cabs were lost from 207 to 104.
Going back to 6.0
I lost also some cabs. Mainly those which I converted from .wav IRs

The HX Stomp has such limited on-board controls that an editor for it is an absolute requirement. I don't find that to be the case with the KPA.
Yes I absolutely agree with you. And the HX Stomp controls are a bit complicated sometimes.
I got myself one as a backup for the kemper (of course) and lightweight bass rig for rehearsal.
While the (guitar) sounds are not as authentic as the kemper the great thing is the editor. It so much easier to edit and tweak with it.
Maybe I'll run the HX Stomp in the FX loop of the kemper with the parallel path option.
I'm sorry for your loss. Take care!
Just bought the All Bundles Pack. I look forward to trying them out.
More importantly I wish you and your mum all the best ...the kemper communities thoughts are with you dude.
+1
All the best for your mother!
Otherwise, Seymour JB is always a good heavy rock pickup...
Agree. I would recommend the Seymour Duncan SH-4 (JB) or the Seymour Duncan SH-5 (Custom). They are both versatile pickups which are also working great with coil split.
I'm thinking of selling all my bass pedals and getting the new Darkglass Microtubes 900v2.
It has bult-in cabsim and compressor.
You shouldn't have to join instagram to learn what the heck they did; basic info such as this should be included in a text file as part of the download.
To be honest, I saw the release of this profile pack on instagram first. That's why I asked there.
Display MoreI don't see if the profiles are merged or DI+IR.
Sound like they use quite heavy pre eq. ..too much, but i guess tipical for this style.
Overproduced sound for my taste but mix ready.
I will not buy any pack if there isnt a free sample.
..well..i bought crankngo without free sample but..well..i am not using yet any of the few packs i bought.
I suppose these are DI profiles with two different IRs (Mesa 412 for the rhythm and Zilla 212 for the lead profile). But I'm not sure.
Edit: They confirmed on instagram that these are DI profiles with custom IRs.
I purchased the pack and yes, these profiles are all sounding really djenty. I suppose they used a boost pedal in front of these amps. And also there is a green scream enabled in every profile.
Will spend more time with these profiles and also might record some samples.
Interesting, but I feel like something doesn't add up here? I own a few of these amps and those samples don't match at all, especially the rhythm ones. Hard Pass from me!
No offense!
What I've seen/read that they used some pedals as boost. So that might be the reason?
I'm thinking of giving these profiles a try.
Display MoreThe most expensive tele I've ever played
I have forgotten to say that in the video, the last sound is a profile from the great sinmix ( a mesa dual recty from his MESA DR pack).

Nice!
I was thinking about getting this one: https://www.thomann.de/de/harl…_fanfret_jbb_2018_dlx.htm
But what I've read the quality varies from unplayable bad to very good for this price. What would you recommend?

This is the Studio version...Merged DI version in the upcoming pack.
5150 Blockletter with Mesa OS SM57 / MD421
Expect 3-4 new packs this week (yup really!)
I'm really looking forward
My analog bass rig (Fender Rumble, Darkglass Vintage Deluxe etc.) and my Orange Micro Terror (which I mainly use with a Maxon 808 or MXR EVH5150 OD).
Cool!
Tell us more about the Chapman.
This is what I can say after a short period owning this guitar:
The manufacturing is pretty good, really not a single scratch in the finish or something like that. This guitar is just a beauty!
I really like the sound of the Duncans, that's also one of the reason I bought this guitar in the first place. The Duncan Custom in the bridge is medium/high output and allows to play some heavier stuff while middle and neck pickup are perfect for crunch or clean tones. Perfect guitar for (hard-)rock, blues etc.
The hardware is alright. To be honest the tremolo system could be better, it goes out of tune pretty fast. What I'm really missing are locking tuners, I think I'm going to get some installed. The newest revision of the Chapman Cap10 comes with locking tuners pre-installed.
My three latest purchases:
Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas 2-7 2H HT
Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR (second hand)
Chapman Guitars ML-1 CAP10 America
I'm really looking forward to the profile pack!
Display MoreThis profile is pretty damn good! No post EQ outside of Kemper. Post Ozone maximizer, reverb and L1. Sloppy out of time playing as usual.

That is sounding really mean (in a positive way)!
What guitar/pickups did you use?
