I suggest to get a proper poweramp oder a powered kemper head if you want to play live with a bass cab.
I'm using my powered kemper head with a fender rumble cab and it sounds great.

riffing around with one of the upcoming Bogner cab profiles...
which amp could that be?Engl?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to test your profiles.

I used some of the Darkglass Microtubes 900 profiles for a live gig this weekend. After some tweaking (EQ with low cut, lower gain) I was very pleased with the sound. I went straight to FOH und also used a 2x10 cabinet for stage sound (I had to turn monitor cab on for better sound).

Good point! Maybe i will add something in the Logo under the name like "Merged Kemper Profiles"
What about Deadlight Merged Profiles?

As long as you aren't shutting your doors. I was nervous when I saw "Ton(e)hammer RIP". Glad you're still in business.
Pheewww... Same here! Glad it's only the name you change.

Need you help guys! Received my kiesel aries 7 with Lithium pickups. Trying to gel with the pickups but something is missing. I had an agile 727 with blackouts and descent sound with the Kemper but now with the lithium just can't find that tone. I know passive and active are two different animals but the Lithium are missing something. Should I try other pickups? Any recommendations?
You could try Seymour Duncan pickups. For example the Nazgul/Sentient is really tight passive set. -
I use following commercial bass profiles:
https://www.wattamp.co.uk/product-page/badass-bass-bundle-1
http://sonicunderground.bigcar…mpeg-svt-blueline-profile
http://www.guidorist.com/en/pr…emper-amp-profiles-asweteYou can tweak them with EQ, gain, compression etc.

Usually, I place the compressor as stomp B, right after the noise gate as stomp A.

Anyone really uses "Parallel Path" for bass here?
I had tried and I think that with my profile it cuts the low end even if I use the mix...
Is this right?
I did some experiments with the parallel path. Some profiles can sound better with it (try with the mix parameter) but for some other profiles its quite the opposite.
I think it really depends on the amp/profiles. -
This is the first Tele I have owned in years. It has a Duncan 59 at the neck, and a Duncan Custom at the bridge. The bridge pickup splits, for more twang, letting the guitar go from Nashville to The Police to EVH.
The '59 / Custom is a great combination! I have the same in my Jim Root Tele, with coil split as well.

Got the bass pack with the Darkglass 900
Are you going to re-release the bass pack with merged profiles as well? That would be awesome! -
I tried the transpose effect with the new firmware. The latency has much improved but it still sounds artificial sometimes.
Here's a sample with drop B tuning (don't mind the sloppy playing):External Content soundcloud.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Did you try using a Studio EQ with low cut? I think this is working pretty well.
-
Great playing!
While the lower notes sound good even in the lowest tuning, the higher notes sounded a bit strange to me. -
Hi all
I have following question:
I'm running a bass profile with parallel path (DI signal with noise gate and compressor).
Is it possible to route parallel path signal to left main output and amp stack signal to right main output? Thanks and cheers
Matt -
I use the SVT profiles from Guido Bungenstock. Added a parallel path for DI signal and now I'm quite happy.
-
Like it, thanks.
I had to add a little bit of gain. And I also disabled the delay/reverb. Now it sounds pretty good. -
We gonna profile two amps:1st: ANGEL Power egg
2nd: ANGEL ???
Angel Fire egg?!
