Oh if they could do with the Reverbs what they did with the Delays.... that would be a home run!

Heck, if I had the money, I would probably have one of each out there. A lot of these items compliment each other pretty well. Granted sound and cooperation of the devices vary to taste, but the soundscape possibilities are quite expansive.

Really, a full minute?Mine is fast, I just timed it and it's fully functional in under 5 seconds, and it seems it's struggling to download the online stuff during this time or it would be faster. Granted I have a upgraded 2010 Mac Pro, 40g of RAM, 3.33x12 core. And I only have 145 rigs on the Kemper. Not sure where your slow down is?
Yeah, I think it has something to do with the laptop mine is on. I looked at it again and the program comes up fast, but seems to delay for a while downloading and catching up (low end i5 and 8gb with Win10). Yep, time for an upgrade I think

I'm with ya, If I don't plug into my Kemper at least 4 times a week, I get those "tone shakes".....
-
Woohoo! I no longer feel bad about hovering in the 4800 profile range. I takes my Rig Manager a full minute to load. I cannot imagine how long yours does....

You know when you think about it, I grew up in the 80's and remember a time when we didn't have much effects available unless you had lots of cash to blow. Isn't it crazy now the we have so much to choose from? Who would have thought it would come this far and we would have these fantastic little beasties!
Cheers,

No problem at all

Hi,
I do have the Kemper foot remote and I use it for channel switching and the norm for all things Kemper (my setup is for home)Here is my setup:
Guitar ----> External pedals (Digitech Freqout, etc…) ---> FX8 IN (PRE)
FX8 OUT (PRE) L/Mono ---> Kemper front Instrument input
Kemper Direct Output/ Send ---> FX8 IN (POST) L
FX8 OUT (POST) L ---> Kemper RETURN
FX8 OUT (POST) R --> Kemper Alternative InputSpeakers:
Kemper Master Output Left and Right XLR --> Pair of MAudio BX8sHope that helps!
Cheers -
Would love for the Kemper to have:
Marshall Guvnor (Early Gary Moore), Analog man King of Tone (Jim Weider), and last but not least a Tiki DriveWould be cool though to have an "open pedal" and by that a configurable OD/DIST that we could shape to our own tastes.
Cheers,

My TAG Angel has 9's with 11/16” Nut Width Heavy SS Frets and I love the setup! Until then I was 10's and Jumbo all the way. I like the 9's a lot better now.

The main disadvantage would be that potential house robbers in the audience would know you've likely got a lot of stuff worth stealing
This is also true....

I use the FX8 in conjunction with my Kemper for extra effects (reverbs, extra this, that...) They do work great together but I think the AX8 may be a little overkill.
-
I use the Mission Engineering for my Kemper exp/wah. I did however keep my Bad Horsie II due to the fact that I like to abuse it every once in a while and not destroy my M.

No problem, I got a little carried away
Cheers!

I got to play one of the satins and I was very impressed. From what John Suhr said a Basswood with maple top and maple neck can get close to a les paul tone. The first Jems had a nice sound sort of les paulish tone. My Anderson is a mahog body maple top with maple/rosewood neck and the tone is aggressive but not overly brite. I still have an old Jem with basswood and it has a smooth tone compared to Ibanez nowadays.

Both of my Suhrs are mahogany body/Maple top and mahogany neck, really like that combo. Very rich sounding. Would love to get my hands on a GG Charvel and see what it's like.

I play with 9's with low action due to the hand issues. And I will say this, I never thought too much about the benefit of a Feiten system till I bought my Anderson, now I really like it and I can kinda tell the difference between others now.
