I use the Tuner and Looper buttons to toggle Delay On/Off Tails and Infinite repeats. It would be great if the status lights under these buttons reflected whatever the buttons were assigned to. Thanks!

+1. Please make a feature request.
Thanks! How do I do that?

I use the Looper and Tuner buttons to toggle effects on and off, like "Delay On/Off Tail". Is there any way to get the status lights to reflect the current status of the effects? It doesn't have to match the color, but it would be nice if they lit up when I engaged an effect.

I'm rolling my own!
That was actually one of the biggest selling points for me. My own amps in my own studio with dual mics, 1073 pres... It's amazing! I've got a profile of a Budda SuperDrive that's just addictive to play. In fact, I hardly ever get to play that amp as loud as that profile. Nice!

Does anybody use the Inverse function? If so, could you come with an example of how? I think I may be trying to use this function for something it isn't intended to do.
-
As an example, I'd like to be able to keep the delay on while switching in a modulation and/or drive/boost. Which effects I want to include in the inverse could depend on the patch I'm using. I use a Softstep and it has the inverse button on the Performanve scene. This would allow me to set up a second sound on every patch. I know I could use morphing, but I'm on 3.3 and don't want to use the beta professionally.
Thanks,

How do I use the inverse function most efficiently? Is there a way to choose which effects are inversed, thus excluding some others?
-
Are you monitoring both directly and through your DAW? That would cause phasing issues.
-
Are you positive you are listening to "Reference Amp" and that you're not sending an existing profile ("Kemper Amp") through your AC30?
-
Yes, use Rig Manager on your computer.
-
Does one of the soft buttons on top of the screen say "External Storage" when you insert the USB stick? Try pressing that. =)

I use Shure SE535s. It might seem trivial, but make sure the earbuds are clean. You should have gotten a small tool to clean the canal in the earbuds. This makes a huge difference, especially in the top-end.
-
Were any stomps active on the Kemper? They are befor the send to the amp. I had a similar problem while profiling my Budda Superdrive (which hates ANYTHING in front of it), but when I saved my profile and entered Browse mode, all the noise was gone.

The trick was to send CC#48/49 value "1" immediately followed by "0". I set value "0" to be sent with Foot Off. I couldn't find this info anywhere, but now everything works as expected.
"If Performance Load is "Pending" MIDI CC #48 Value 0 will step up one Performance and then wait there for you to select a Slot via MIDI CC #50-54. If you send MIDI CC #48 Value 1 it will step up by one Performance and after a while start scrolling upwards until you send MIDI CC #48 value 0 to stop scrolling. If you don't stop, it will run to Performance 125. "
"CC#48/49 value 0 loads immediately the next Performance. If you send value 1 instead next Performance appears in pending mode, and if it's followed by value 0 you can avoid that scrolling even starts. Your Softstep should be capable of sending value 1 when you hit the button and value 0 when you release it. This way you have all options. You can just step up or down one Performance in pending mode or you could even use scrolling. "
I hope this helps someone else! This could be implemented better in the Softstep Kemper scenes.

Everything worked the next day. Must have been the late hour and human error. Thanks, guys.

I'm sorry if this is a noob question that has been covered before.
Today I made five profiles that I intend to use live. However, when I press "Stack" and use the Browse wheel, none of my profiles show up. The first obstacle is to get my rigs into Performance Mode (they show up in Browse Mode under "My Rigs").
Second, I would like to edit my existing performances so that everything stays the same (effects + stomps) but I exchange the amps for my new profiles. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Torbiz

Ok, thanks!

Does it matter whether CC#49 and CC#48 send value "0" or "1"? I think the Performance Scene from the KMI website sends both depending on how long you press the pedal.

Thank you for your reply. However, as I stated in the OP, Performance load is already set to pending.
