Plans do change.
Us old lads with bad eyes would certainly hope so!
-
I had several of them when they came stock with LP's and always exchanged them for something better.
Too bright and flat sounding for me. They have lot's of highs, especially with 500k controls.
I do like the regular BB's with A2s better. -
Inthrutheout please, record 2 tracks. One when you perceive the toaster to sound correctly and nice. And then the same playing with the same rig when you perceive it to be broken and sounding bad.
This should quiet everyone doubting you. Please lad, this is all that is needed! -
Inthroughtheout can you please record a clip when the problem appears to be fixed and the the same playing when your toaster seems to be broken again.
I think that's the only way to solve this with support. I myself would love to hear it's been taken care of by the support lads. -
It gets better.
I received this reply this morning-
Dear Joe ####,
our engineering is aware of this phenomenon. It does exist since day one and has nothing to do with current software revisions. It has been reported once or twice before and for example never by professional and commercial Rig providers.
We will do further testing. At the moment it isn't even clear, if tube amplifiers don't do that as well. We will do further assessments of that phenomenon incl. tube amplifiers.
Sincerely,
Burkhard Dinnies
Kemper Amps Support TeamWow, I'm really astonished to read this reply.
So a problem exists that has been known for years but since it has not been reported by professionals or commercial rig providers, it has not been looked into?
I hope I'm reading this wrong... -
While I love the simplicity of the toaster, my old eyes aren't too good anymore. I'd appreciate an editor so I could see it clearly on my big 30" PC monitor...
You young lads with your 20/20 vision are less affected here -
My AxeFX 2 MkII just recently became EOL. The lads over at Fractal stopped the FW updates for them early units.
I'm not too happy about that, but contrary to this - very happy to own the toaster which I'm expecting to be supported for a very long time. Kudos to the lads at Kemper!Needless to say, the Fractal lads won't be seeing any more of my money as I don't appreciate this kind of business model...

...
Also my boot time has gone WAY down...Yes! Reported this as well... Was really happy about that
-
The Strymon lads make good stuff. But this one is kind of meh!
-
I think merged would be the best one in any case. As it is a studio profile plus a direct profile in one
-
Boot time seems to have seriously improved with 4.2 Release I think...
Yes, here too laddie! Very happy for that!
-
Buil in Kemper Ampsim programable by kemper proffiling signal still trying to recreate diff amps sounds, so what you expect? Its like a sex with condom, not bad but not the same
Stay Metal! Are you sure the Kemper has built-in amp-sims and uses those as an approximation?
Not in my experience... I'm pretty sure that's not the case after profilling close to 100 different amps and pedals myself... -
Oh my!!!!
I thought No. 4 sounded the least like the rest of 'em. I did not like No. 4 at all - I guessed this was the Bias.
The No.3 sounded like my HELIX so I got this one right easily.
Pretty stoked that No. 4 was the Kemper though. But to be honest, the lad in the vid does not really have a good tone to begin with... but still surprised that the Kemper sounded this 'orrible with that lad.
-
Not in the near future...
-
I'm a reverb junkie - so hearing that there will be upgrades in the Reverb section is BIG news for me and highly appreciated!!
That could mean I could get rid of all my Reverb racks and pedals (Eventide, Lexicon, Bricasti Design, Strymon, TC-Electronix, Electro Harmonix...) if they get it right. Would even love to beta test these, if Kemper lads want me as I have 40+ years of experience with all kinds of studio reverbs. -
Great, I will do that! Thank you
-
Thanks a lot lads!!
-
Hi lads, are there any Dumble super overdrive profiles around?
Commercial ones maybe? Thank you -
Thank you all, lads!
Kemper rocks them old bones!
