Having grey hair will do? Guess not.

You can also use the main outs with monitors or two FRFRs, and the monitor out with a cab, which is like having FOH plus the cab. And obviously two Kempers with a cab each, using the same profile and two different cabs, or even two profiles, dual amping. If money is no problem.... And the neighbours won't complain...And the wife won't either... But we are asking too much from our Kemper, however versatile It may be...

Write it is solved in the thread.

A few years ago I sold my LP Standard and bought a R6 Gold Top. I found the neck a bit too thick, though I liked the sound and I got used to the neck after a while. When I got the Kemper I had second thoughts about the R6 'cause the P90s were not that easy to please as other SCs or humbuckers. Fortunately, I thought it over. I found profiles that suited the pups a lot and I fell in love with the guitar again, even more than when I bought it. Sometimes you sell something (for instance, a Marshall combo) to buy another (an Engl combo in my case) and after a while you long for what you used to have and are not too sure of your new "love". I still have my R6. I'm not always faithful, ha, ha, since I'm not a one-guitar-only player.

Bert's Fanboy Club is becoming trending topic. You deserve the laurels, Bert. Great sounds and a great vibe. I enjoyed the vídeo with the intro to the different profiles, and the subfolders per guitar pups is a good thing imho. Congrats, Flying Dutchman.

Bought but not played yet, but I am 99.99% sure I will like them.

Kemperholics in spades here!

A few months ago I was about to get a Techo 21 Poder Engine Deuce Deluxe, but then the Kabinet became my first option. Different beasts altogether, but in a similar price range and weight., actually cheaper because It is active. You can disable the tweeter in the Tech 21, so you can make it less FRFR. But sure it is not like the Kabinet. Probably better for an acoustic guitar and to have a similar sound to the PA. I still have an Engl Sovereign combo, which gathers dust, and which is a pain in the... to move around.

A Focusrite Liquid S for a few years now. Working fine.

The louder you play them the better. They are made to sound good live rather than in a mix.

Way too many profiles, and yet I'm still tempted... Now I'm more selective, though, and there's only a few vendors that do tempt me easily, Bert and Britt in particular.

Have you tried listening thru the Kemper headphones or monitors connected to the Kemper itself, with no interface in the chain? If you have and there is little or no fizziness in many profiles then the problem is your interface and/or your DAW (output levels, SPDIF issues or whatever). I use SPDIF thru a Liquid Saphire that works OK, and monitors & headphones connected to the interface, but I think the headphones output of the Kemper is a tad, just a tad perhaps, better, mind you.

Les Pauls sound good. Strats a bit too trebly with some profiles. The bridge pup with some profiles is unusable... A cab may help.

The new profiles are punchier thru headhones. Gotta try them with monitors and a cab yet.

2 Kempers and 2 Kabinets, I'm afraid.

There used to be some stickers with some gritty stuff, sort of sandpaper-like , which you could stick to your picks. Now there 's the Monster grips in Amazon which are similar. And there are rubber grips, sort of gloves to put your pick in. And you may try Jeff Beck's method, gymnastics chalk, though you'll get pups and body a bit whitish . Cheer up. Where there is a will there is s way.

The amps yes, the profiles no. Similar but a tad better. They sound great with humbuckers and SCs. New or modified, but not the same as those in earlier packs, which are great in my opinion. If you like those older ones, you can't go wrong with the new lead pack.

Thinner and flexible are cool for strumming, but thicker for picking esp with heavy gauge strings . Im using Dunlop Flows lately.
