I have the powered head and use my own direct profiles and they sound and feel like the real amps. This is my power head thru a 1x12 closed back cab.

I made a fast clip of one of the profiles. this is a powered Kemper thru a 1x12 Vintange 30 marhall cab in the room.
-
Yes,all are my actual amps.
-
There are a lot of different tones in this amp.I time on it before I make a final review but so far I like it better than the Smallbox 50 and SS100 and time will tell if it can get some JJ100 tones.
The BE Deluxe is a great amp for sure. -
Yeah I want to spend a day and go thru every possible combination with this amp.
-
I use a Whirlwind EDB1 Direct Box set on -20dB PAD connected to the speaker out of the amp head I'm profiling into a 2X12 Friedman with V 30s.It works very well for me.
-
Yeah when I get the house to myself I'm going to do some major profiling.
-
I have some direct profiles up .Just look under mfolet

Thanks. I have a powered toaster and I use it as a traditional guitar amp.So my profiles are without cabs. I have two bottome that I use.one is a Friedman 2x12 closed back and the other is a NAU Engineering 2x12 open back, both with Celestion Vintage 30s and they sound huge, aggressive and very touch sensitive.I'm happy how these turned out. They sound and react just like the amp.
I'm glad it translates well with a cabinet sim. -
I made these profiles with a Friedman 2x12 cabinet with celestion Vintage 30's.A Gibson Les Paul R9 was used also.
Back to back they sound the same and move a lot of air.Cleans up nice with the guitar volume control.
-
Yep that's me.
-
Put up some direct profiles of my new Friedman Be50 Deluxe on the rig exchange. tell me what you think.
-
I'm glad you guys like my profiles.I'm very new to this as I just got my Kemper three weeks ago.I like not only getting the sound of these amps but getting the feel as well.I can't wait to profile my other amps.I'm using a simple Whirlwind connect DI and it works well.Thank you for the feedback and I have a lot to learn.

mfolet
can you, please, take a typical sweetpot of steve stevens?pres - 5
bass - 9
mid - 9
high - 6
gain - 7.5 / 8thank you,again man
Done and uploaded to SS100 sweet .
-
Just put up two profiles of SS100 at max gain with boost. One has mids at 7 and one with mids at 2.
-
I'll do a couple in the morning.
-
Just added two clean profiles for both the JJ and SS.They are DI for some reason a Legacy cab is listed. The SS100 clean is using the settings from Steves demo video and I also put up a DI of the dirty settings from that video as well. The JJ clean is my settings I use live.

hey the ss100 is probably one of the best profiles of that amp i have come across, very well balanced. works well with sinmix and cill cabs and does really well with ownhammer thru a PA. i havent used my cab (evh 4x12) yet but will tonight. would be cool to hear it with some of the sat and other switches played with
the jj seems a little light on the low end but adding with eq fills it out ( this is with a bunch of different cabs thru frfr) very, very solid though
your jmp voodoo- hate the dist block, once i turned it off, i think you really have something there, a really nice chimey amp, bet it sounds great with just the amp gain cranked. a very full sounding profile!
Thanks for the input. The JJ I use to gig so it is set up and EQed to fit in a band setting.I always pull back on the bass to give me more clarity in the mix and let the bass player fill in the low end.We are a two guitar band as well and it helps to keep things from getting muddy.
The other profiles were just the amp EQed for the room I was in with no band. -
Sounds amazingly versatile. Would you consider profiling the clean channel too at some stage? No doubt there are more goodies to be had in that box.
Yeah,I can do that.Maybe in a couple of days from now.

@mfolet
Thanks for these profiles. The Freidman JJ direct profile sounds excellent to me - my favourite of these - it kills with HBs and just about any cab I have tried. The SS and the JMP Voodoo 2 sound a bit drier and grainier with the same cab - probably could use a smoother cab. I find the SS suits me a little better with the gain backed off a tad.As for the JJ - what an awesome amp. The spanky clean channel sounds very impressive on the youtube demo too.
Thanks for the feedback. The JJ is my favorite and its the amp I use to gig with.If you turn the volume down on the guitar it gets real clean and chimey.I profiled it set as I do when I gig.I do everything from modern country ,classic hard rock, modern rock and metal with just adjustment of guitar volume.
The earlier profiles I did were done at maxed volume and they are grainier. The JMP is way too loud, lol.
