I've tried some Pedals. like the Yamaha FC-7 and M-Gear Expression, both have the Problem, that I just can use half of the way and the

rest is dead Zone. When I switch the Kemper between Mode 1 and Mode 2, ist just makes, that the dead zone ist first or after.

Which pedal is really able to use the full range with the Kemper?

Hello and welcome to the Kemper community!

I use the Kemper for a few month, and like you I've tried a lot of equipment (amps, modeler, analog and digital effects and multieffects...) in all that years before.
At least I ever been come back to analog effects and tubeamp, last years I played with two Fender HDR with different Speaker in, I play with a Tele thinline, a squier strat and most with a musicman reflex.
When I hear about the Kemper, I'm going to be pregnant with for a year, then there was no way to bear it and try, if that was my solution. I use the Powerhead with remote. And it was! The first week I was really not shure, if that was another deal I will regret, Needs a bit time to understand the art of working and find a few profiles that match. Another thing was getting the right speaker and tweak our PA in our rehearsal to sound well with the Kemper but now I'm truly happy with it and don't regret to switch to this fine Piece of gear.
All my amps, effectboards, cabinets were gone and sold (and at least I don't have to pay for the Kemper) , it was never as easy to use a remote and I don't think I need much more than this.

So I hope you'll have much fun and inspiring sounds from the Kemper!

    Hello!

I've finished my Monitor Project by putting an Beyma 12ga50 in a cheap harley-benton 1x12 cab (from thomann) , close the back (!!! makes more definition and pressure) and listen. It's an amazing monitor-cab for the Kemper, just tweak a little more bass (I've made an extra Output preset for it, so I can switch fast) and it sounds very good for this price (payed 105 € for the Beyma and 25€ for the used cab)!!! I compare it with the headphone Sound with a AKG 712 Pro and it comes very close! Maybe I have to tell that I damp the inner sides and the back of the cab, because it has two bass-reflex-holes (it comes with that holes, I leave it open) and I don't want to hear the inner reflections as much - I would recommend this! I think it's now a good Monitor cab for rehearsal and stage/live gigs.

Have the Beyma in my VOX nighttrain-cab with open back before, but I think the cab is too small for the beyma, too less bass. so I put the greenback back into the Vox and that is my second experience, original VOX nighttrain 1x12 open back cab, which is very little and there's an Celestion G12M Greenback in it. This cab sounds also very amazing with the Kemper (I leave the monitor cab on!!!), not that flat like the beyma, but much more amp-sounding color, which is very great. I use it in my homestudio for composing and practice, and it really rocks! Buy it used on eBay for 120.-€, it's solid and very Little for an 1x12 Cab.

I forgot, the beyma has now break in, makes a deeper bass and the fizzy heights before has gone. I think it's a good Speaker, when it's in the rigth cabinet - in my opinion it sounds better with a closed and a bit damped cab.

    Hello!
I've ordered a Beyma 12GA50 to put it in my little Vox cabinet (which has a Celestion Greenback and ist very small and niceand its 1/3 open) or in a 1x12 cabinet (open or Close, I have to try out).
It sounds well in my Little vox-cab, Speaker is new and have to break in, little less bass at the Moment and al little fizzy in the heights, but with a little tweaking with a good Headphone and the EQ of the Kemper Monitor Out I really come close enough to the Headphone-Sound.

Haven't try it in the bigger 1x12 cabinet with the option to drive it closed back and bass-reflex, but when the speaker has break-in and sounds good in the vox-cab, I would let it in there, cause it's really small and nice for a monitoring-solution.

Even in the Moment I can reccommend this speaker for a cheap solution (and it would Sound better break-in), I own the Power-Head, so I don't need anything active, and the passive Matrix Q-12 cost really much Money (I would like to know, which speaker they put in there!)
