That's what I did. Working now. What a PITA. No more RM betas for me.

Just installed it - no longer sees my kemper. Did not realise it was a beta, or I would not have....
Any suggestions? Does not matter which order I start rm or kemper, have rebooted PC too.

As I understand it, the higher impedance the less harmonic distortion, but will require more power to drive.
I have just bought a pair of 250ohm DT770, so I will give them a go and update this post.
Edit: Just had a session with them - superb. Volume is fine. Very spacious sounding despite being closed. I would recommend them. You can pick these up for around £109 at the moment. Bargain.

I got sticker and two picks - don't know where they are though.....

Saw him many years ago on the Renfrew Ferry when it was berthed in Glasgow city centre and used as a venue (went to a wedding there too!) I remember being astounded by the solos on Bundles and being obsessed for ever after. Couldn't get some of the albums here, had to import. He will be very sadly missed.
There is a crowdfunder to raise funds for his funeral and family, he was not a wealthy man.

Had to adjust my remote display as well. No big deal. Just freaked me out for a second.
Yeah, I thought it was broken! -
Had to increase brightness on my remote after update. ??

The main point of the Kemper to me is that I have access to thousands of accurate amp setups, including some fairly exotic I'll never be able to own, instead of just the one(s) I have. Sorry if point already made.
Incidentally I have not even powered them up (dual JMP1 preamps through 22/20) since buying the Kemper. Also more than two grands worth of pedalboard sitting on floor gathering dust.... although I intend to use the Space and SlideRig.

For Q1 log into the Kemper amps site, then choose product registration from top right menu. Same login for forums.

Thanks - been driving me crazy! (Just tap the dang thing, don't hold it down....)

Still cant get it to latch. No takers?

G string issue will probably be the nut slot is too high. Needs to be cut so it won't bind and as deep as can go without completely buggering up the action. No deeper than height of first fret. Or you could try an earvana nut.

Try System -> Factory Rigs. This will import all the new presets, etc. If you don't want all the factory content, then you will need to import the presets manually.

No - ROQSolid - check out their site.

Thanks amclw1. That makes sense, thanks for sharing the information.
Was that rack or lunchbox? And are you located in the US or elsewhere?Powered Toaster, UK.

If you've got Kemper and PC connected by USB you can whizz through them and then upload the ones you like.

Okay I wanna run this by you guys as well . . . and since I'm a total Noob on this thing, excuse my ignorance if it somehow already exists without my knowledge. Perhaps Kemper can figure out some insane way to do this:
I look at the Rig Exchange and I see that JCM 800 that I'd love to hear . . . so instead of the (admittedly almost nothing) time spent going thru the experience of adding it to my Kemper, what if it went like this:
"Check it out . . . that '86 JCM 800" . . . (clicks rig)
Goes to accompanying menu . . . select from "Strat-ish", "Less Pawl", "HollowBody'Lecktrick" or perhaps "pointy metal axe" . . . I click the LessPaul cause that's my weapon of choice today . . .
Once I've clicked JCM 800 and Less Pawl, the computer plays me a pre-recorded riff played thru one of the selected (directly recorded) guitar performances from one of our thousands of Kemper brethren and RIGHT THEN I have a very good idea if this an amp rig I'd enjoy using. . . . maybe not "exactly" but at least I could hear it before putting it on a flash drive.
For all I know, I'm missing something and you can hook the damn Kemper DIRECTLY to the Rig Exchange without the download . . . which wouldn't render my idea useless, but it's definitely something I don't know about right now!
Eh? It might be dumb. . . . but maybe not.
Right click a rig in Rig Manager and select 'Preview'.

Mine came November with 4

tuning stability was really poor
Not my experience. Always been excellent. Maybe I'm lucky (or just have it set up properly).
-
really like the bridge on that. Looks so good on that guitar.
Yes - it's a System 1. Based on Kahler I think. Absolutely rock solid tuning. It is far better (easier to set up) than a standard two point strat trem. You can still get parts too. I have new rollers around somewhere still to fit. Trem is set up floating, tone and a half up at 12th fret. Nice for Jeff Beck stuff.
