The fix involved the replacement of the faulty socket...
I'm a happy unit again!
-
The eventual solution was to log a ticket with the Kemper mothership in Germany who relayed my request to the Australian service agent Innovative Music in Melbourne who did fine job on the fix for very reasonable dollars with good turn around.....

Lovely acoustic tone Damian - very very nice... Well recorded!

it is indeed. I do it already with two piezo equipped guitars (PRS P22 and Parker Fly) but having it as an effect available on any guitar will be a great addition for many.
That's a great way to do it - The Fly has been something I have lusted after for years. Just love the necks!

It's going to be awesome as a gigging tool - to be able to switch between an electric and acoustic even mid-phrase.. well, that's going to be amazing!

I bought a FreqOut... It kinda gets there.....

Alto 208 punches out a good tone

Appreciate the heads up

Yes - SteinbergerHack... That's my situation too.
I am reading Guitar 1 off Mamma Mia in a theatre pit with no amps and monitoring is IEM... (so no cab, no FRFR)
I am looking for something that gives me "take off" to send me a harmonic feedback an octave higher than a sustained note

Many Thanks Ruefus for that suggestion which I will take up - if I make progress I will post it here

An early Happy New Year to all in the Kemperdom across the world from Australia....
Is there such a thing as an approved hardware mod, endorsed by Kemper and/or its distributors/dealers, that can be effected in cases where there is hardware damage to the RJ45 socket causing a continual falling out of the remote cable?
I am aware of the mods done by British Audio (and others), however, Nashville is about 20 hours from where I live by plane!
An approved mod effected by a trained tech in Australia would be highly valued.
Rgds,
Dale

Heya from Toowoomba, Qld... Welcome Jarabuandi

That’s the one thing that makes monitor engineers quake in their boots ‘can i have more cowbell in the monitor?’ The answer would be ‘when i get my editor’
Brilliant!!!!

This is so true.... I am pushing the mids off the morph pedal as a lead sound. Works really well to cut through the mix on a single coil guitar

Thanks for the update G String... It’s going to be great....
