You betcha on both counts Monkey_Man...
Thanks for the suggestion.
Story goes I might end up doing some demos at Melb Int Guitar Show next year (but currently under wraps). If so I'll flick u a PM.

Maybe I need to order less beer and focus on the software upgrade process... ha ha
Booyah is spot on...
I use an EQ which is morphing higher mids as a volume boost strategy for live.
An EQ shift sounds kinda "odd" in isolation (with no band) but the lead tone when I listen back to live recordings with a band know no equal...
Eventual solution: (and it was obvious when I looked at this for a while)
I configured all of my music apps into their own sub-folder accessible in one group permanently attached to the dock.
When I created that folder I moved the original .app file into the folder
When I was downloading the update the app was downloading into /applications not the sub-folder...
Rookie mistake for an old fella who should've realised earlier!
Thanks digbob... that had me looking at the setup - good suggestion
My RM doesn’t overwrite 2.1.76 when applying the latest upgrade.
Can’t see what i’m Doing wrong
Installation says the update is complete etc
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks Burkhard - Thanks Christophe.... Kemper rules!!
Yeah I'm seeing that a separate ch in the desk is the way to go... ie. run the guitar path through the Kemper and the synth out of the laptop
How did you end up integrating the FTP in the signal path?
I was working on a couple of gig performance setups last night and I couldn't find an OD with a flat response (ie. not appreciable mid-range boost). Arguably that is the same as a boost pedal but I would rather a light OD with a pre and post gain setting.
What did I miss learned forum members? Is there such a thing already there?
MBritt's tweed pack is ground zero for me on a Fender sound
One of the outstanding virtues is the amazing stable design of the original hardware and the manner in which Kemper has managed to update it for an extraordinary period of time. When the next major update arrives it will literally be the equivalent of being able to update an iPhone 3G to IOS13. (oh I know that is a different basis for comparison but I draw the point that the hardware is so good that they has never been an upgrade)
Over in Fractal land they keep re-inventing hardware to find new and painful ways to spend cash.
Don't worry we have it good!
I'm not sure as I haven't had a DXR15 in a gig setting but I suspect that the construction of the DXR15 and DXR10 are similar to the extent that the freq response would be relatively similar (and if anything maybe the 10 would perhaps be "tighter")
I had the Dr Z train wreck factory profile up and running on the DAS audio on this gig and it was bigger than 10 bears.... whoa!!
It might have been just the combination of a number of factors that lead to this: room, stage resonance (and it has a fair sized footprint) but it was one of those 1 in 100 gigs where the sound is PERFECT... (and don't we all long for those moments).
Now if it was only less expensive it would be a "take my money" moment....
Been a Kemper user for nearly 3 years and I regularly visit this great forum.
Anyway, I took the leap of faith of doing some dates with my blues band in NZ relying on the house wedge setups only for stage volume
It was a testament to the Kemper that with various PA, sound companies, different environments, etc, that it shone through. Consistent, stable, reliable, great tone...
All of this had me thinking that "powered FRFR response is actually pretty consistent with modern PA gear" - wrong...!
On the last gig I encountered an AMAZING bin I'd never seen before so I thought I'd share...
Beautiful "feel", tons of power, excellent frequency response, solid, well built.... It's probably close to the ultimate full response wedge.
Meet the DAS Audio Stage 15A.... A mere $A4K (cough) but sounds better than a DXR10.
It's an absolute cracker of a bin..
Go well all in Kemper-land...

Bring it on - let's see what it does....
Great feature!
I've used the Nektar Pacer - works fine
Give the man a T-Shirt...
I do actually - yes I'll see what I can do
