Tried these last night, very nice. Definitely keepers.
I found them a touch bright but I found the merged profiles worked great with a cab choice that was not so bright.

Wow, many thx mate,
these profiles are killer.
Used the merged ones with my fav cab and the sun comes up.
Fantastic amp!
Fav cab? Which one(s) have you settled on?

Me too, 3 packs that date back months ago.

Here is a little cover clip I put together using these profiles. It needs some work but I think it shows the quality of these profiles.
All rights belong to the original owner etc.Great interpretation and playing here by Rick of a Reznor classic. In case you haven't worked it out Rick is my Kemper owning mate I refer to in the original post!

Hi all,
I've profiled and posted to Rig Exchange 8 Studio profiles of my Ceriatone Yeti 50. If you are not familiar with this head it is essentially a modded plexi design that can take you into very hot plexi territory, further there is a mode switch that invokes a Jose diode clipping circuit.
I profiled the amp running into my THD 2x12 which is loaded with Warehouse Veteran 30 speakers, with an SM57 mic.
A Kemper owning mate of mine tried these out over the last few days and gave them the thumbs up, so I decided to post for all to enjoy.
The profiles are:
Yeti 50 Clean - single gain stage only, clean and full plexi.
Yeti 50 w/ bright - same as above but with bright switch engaged, effectively a HPF that allows the top end to break up. Works quite well with a boost stomp in front.
Yeti 50 Med - ok into gain territory now, both gain stages in. This is medium gain at noon with bright switches set on.
Yeti 50 Med+KokoMid - same as above but with the Suhr KokoBoost in mid boost mode in front of the amp.
Yeti 50 Max - Like the Med profile but with gain 1 all the way to 11. (yep, it goes to 11!)
Yeti 50 Max+Koko - same as the Max profile but with the Suhr KokoBoost in front
Yeti 50 Max+KokoMid - same as the Max profile but with the Suhr KokoBoost in mid boost mode in front.
Yeti 50 '80's mode - gain 1 back to noon, with bright switch set and the Jose diode circuit inIf you like a gained up plexi then hopefully you find something here you like.

Enjoying the Victory V50 The Earl profiles from MBritt's Heavy Pack.

Trimmed down to around 200, but many are profiles from the same amp or pack. I'm down to working with about 6 favourite amps.

Yeah, I'm finding FRFR does bring this out. With my old tube amp and cab, yeah sure I'd wind back the presence a bit as the volume went up but with FRFR it is more pronounced.
This experience has led me into Michael Britt's profiles which can be dark sounding at low volume, but perfect loud!
-
Great to hear. What are your favourite profiles for each main tone?
-
ok so I finally got to try out the dxr10's live with the band at cranking volume. Pretty happy overall actually.
I had them setup in wedge configuration.Two things that I had to do once I had them up and running loud;
1) engage the HPF at 100hz, was just too boomy in the bottom end
2) wind back the master output presence as all my patches which sound great at lower volume were way too bright up at stage level.Anyone else had this experience and recommendations? I don't want to have to setup two sets of rigs for different volumes!

Tried the phase 27 direct profile set last night paired up with Till's cab003....Gold Jerry!
Sits sweetly in with the band and the lower gain BE channel profiles are fantastic, these are not just high gain monsters.

On the basis that nobody has stated it's rubbish I'll profile the blue and red channels this weekend..
Jimmyno - are you bring the IR's in via Cabmaker? I haven't even looked at this yet but would like to get hold of some cab models to play with for then FRFR time comes along!
Regards,
Si
How are those blue and red channel profiles coming along? Cheers!

Anyone tried these yet? Very keen to read a review.

Got both of Guidorist's XTC profiles while I love, especially the new Merged pack. Today I grabbed the Dr. Z MAZ pack....wow! Amazing with a neck position single coil. It has to be a great amp that sounds sweet on that border of clean and dirty, just breaking up. This pack nails it.

Got these yesterday and had my first try out last night. One word; Awesome!
Still got a lot to discover but I found a couple of cabs pretty quickly that suited me. The Merged profiles of the same amp are a great way to dial through to find a cab you like. Use that cab and then dial in your favourite amp and you're in business!!

Thanks guys. Interesting how everyone sets up slighlty different. Will report back how I get on.

Hi All,
So I have taken the plunge fully into FRFR world with 2 x DXR10's running stereo, leaving my 2x12 cabs at home for now...
My question is, how do you setup your FRFR monitors in terms of placement? As floor wedges, standing up as back line etc etc.
Especially for;
1) Rehearsal with band, vocal PA only
2) Small gig, vocal PA only
3 Larger gig with full FOH -
Awesome, but don't stop there....profile the other channels too!
-
Ah, I didn't know that....thanks for the tip!
