I have a problem and I start thinking probably depends with the last kemper firmare, I can’t get preset names with the RJM GT22.

I have two Kemper, the one I use at home (toaster) for test upgrades and create new rigs and the other that I use live (rack) and update when the one at home seems all ok. Actually the one that I use at home has the last firmare 8.0.5, the other has an older firmware.

I upgrade the GT22 with the last firmware 4.5.1 but communication faults with the toaster, always GT get the first 6 preset and at the 7 stops and freeze, no possible to continue, the unique thing I can do is stop the process

fortunately I had the possibility to try it with the Kemper with older firmware (rack) and testing the communication seems GT talk with it perfectly and get all the presets.

if possible I want to use last kemper firmware for new sounds and more possibilities in all the two device, I wanna ask you if you can test the same, please let me know what you think, thanks

update: I installed the latest kemper 8.0.6 firmware version, saved a backup, hard reset the machine and re-installed the saved profiles. even now the GT freezes when downloading data
I told it to RJM Support and they reply "This defnitely sounds like a problem in the Kemper firmware. I haven't changed anything with Kemper support in a year or two. Have you tried contacting them?"

thanks for the kind answer

- the real default state of the Rig as stored in the Profiler is all OFF (e. g. Stomp A/B/C/D off, X off, MOD off, Delay off, Reverb off)
- various MIDI PC and CC (I follow the reference chart) to control Stomp A/B/C/D , X, MOD, Delay, Reverb followed by control changes value 1 or value 0 for the state on or off
for example: pc 18 + cc 17(0) + cc 18(0) + cc 19(0) + cc 20(1) + cc 22 (1) + cc 24(0) + cc 27(1) + cc 29(1)
i have to tell the 0 value when off and 1 when on because i can ativate/deactivate via cc when i want

- Just one way midi cable naturally from pedalboard midi out to kemper midi in
- version 5.0.3.12660

I tried with another pedalboard (Rocktron All Access) and the result is the same!

Sono un nuovo utente, ho riscontrato dei problemi ad impostare la mia pedaliera midi in modo che possa comunicare col Kemper.. anzi, sto parlando dello stesso problema riscontrato su ben due pedaliere: Liquid Foot Pro e Rocktron All access. Preciso che non sono nuovo del mondo midi e la cosa mi sta alquanto spiazzando, molto probabilmente sto sbagliando qualcosa ma ho come il timore che possa esserci cattiva ricezione da parte del nuovo giocattolo..

Giungo al dunque: Ciò che io desidero è avere dei preset sulla pedaliera che alla pressione permettano l'invio di program changes (così facendo avviene il cambio preset sul kemper) e, sempre dalla pedaliera poter inviare dei continuous controller che mi permettano di attivare/disattivare gli stomps A/B/C/D e X,MOD,DELAY e REVERB.
Dopo aver impostato la pedaliera il Kemper riceve correttamente pc e cc midi, preciso che sto lavorando col kemper in browse mode, che sto seguendo la tabella di riferimento e i pc sono relativi ai pc impostati sui vari rigs del kemper..

Posso spingere tutti i pulsanti (uno per uno) sulla pedaliera e dove vengono inviati i cc i moduli si accendono/spengono correttamente.
Il problema è quando cambio il preset (e quindi vengono inviati sia PC che CC) sulla pedaliera.. talvolta i 'moduli' associati si attivano e talvolta il modulo lampeggia solo per un attimo poi torna nello stato disattivato.
E ancora, se spingo per la prima volta il preset sulla pedaliera tutto va su, ma se mi spingo una seconda volta tutto si spegne, a volte quando spingo il preset per la prima volta si attiva senza moduli e devo premere più volte lo stesso bottone sulla pedalboard prima che i moduli si attivino come dovrebbe essere

1. Ho premuto il preset una volta ma nessun modulo si attiva, solo alla terza pressione si attivano
2. col secondo preset va tutto liscio,
3. infine vado sul terzo preset e solo ad una seconda pressione i moduli si attivano

Ho bisogno di aiuto, ho due settimane a disposizione dopodichè inizierò di nuovo con concerti e sono disperato Grazie a tutti!

Description:
i press the preset one but no one modules goes on, only at the 3rd pressing they go activate,
then i go on the 2nd preset and all goes on correctly,
at the end i go on the 3rd preset and at the first time nothing goes on but at the 2nd press the modules selected is activated.

specification: i'm working on browse mode.

IMPORTANT: I have tried also with a Rocktron All Access and the problem is the same!

i'm a new user and i have encounter a problem setting my Liquid Foot Pro with Kemper.. After i set properly the pedalboard (i'm not novice with midi) kemper receives midi pc and midi cc so i can change program and activate/deactivete stomps, x, mod, delay and reverb. I follow the reference chart and i repeat, all seems set correctly.
I can push every buttons (one by one) on the pedalboard and the module goes on or off.
The problem is when i change the preset on the pedalboard and sometimes the associated modules will be activate and sometimes flashes only for one moment then come back off.
Again, if i push for the first time the preset on pedalboard all goes on but if i push a second time all goes off, sometimes when i push the preset for the first time and no one modules will activate i have to push the same botton on the pedalboartd 1-2-3-4 time before they will activate

I hope you understand my bad english, i need help, i have two weeks then i will start again with gigs and i'm going desperate
