I'm embarrassed to be so late to this party.

I'm loving the Kemper and the latest Rig Manager.

It was an easy update and is working well.

    Rig Manager question...

I've made a couple of reverb presets that I love.

Is there a way to save them as user presets?

    Thanks!

    To the OP...

I understand the concept of constructive criticism and I appreciate you taking the time to contribute your thoughts.

    Thanks for posting.

I hope you are enjoying your Kemper.

My reasons for loving the Kemper are many.

#1) The sound. OMG! This thing can produce tones that sing.

Feels like a real amp and the tracks sit beautifully in mixes.

#2) The capability of profiling my own amps.

So fun and easy... I've had great results with very little effort.

#3) Kemper continues to add new features that expand the sonic capabilities and the upgrades are FREE.

#4) Rather than come out with the "Kemper II", they have continued to develop and support the original.

#5) This forum! So many helpful folks. Great insight and knowledge.

That said, I advise having a relationship with a music store where they will let you try gear.

Many of the stores in my area have 30 or 45 day return policies.

I always do research, but sometimes when I get the gear home, I find flaws or problems that are deal breakers.

One case was the Line 6 Helix. Very cool unit, but I couldn't find a way to get the sounds I wanted. (no slam intended, lot's of folks getting great sounds with it)

Returned it and got the Kemper.

I've been in guitar heaven ever since.

I'm wondering if Kemper could include more options for compression pedals.

There seems to be only one choice and it works O.K.

I'd be happy to see some other options.

This is the only thing I miss in the Kemper.

Maybe a future update could include a few classics and some studio grade gear?

    Just thinking.

O.K. the sounds are wonderful and great for recording and playing.

Feels like playing a real amp. Sounds so good!

I've got all my favorite amps in there.

Beyond that, these folks are able to squeeze more and more out of the existing hardware, year after year.

    For no charge!

Most companies would have us buying a new box every couple of years.

I offer my praise and respect to the Kemper team.

    Thanks!

    New Kemper user here.

Kemper tones are rocking my world!

Coming from the Helix, I have been a bit disappointed with the UI in the Kemper.

The Helix has a "state of the art" display and a very well designed navigation system.
Go check it out... I didn't realize how great it was until I got the Kemper.
In the Kemper, I'm scrolling through endless effects to find what I want.
Probably "state of the art" when the first Kemper came out,.

A computer editor would solve this for me

Ah, but the Kemper sounds continue to knock me out.

That is why I said goodbye to the Helix.

I continue to be amazed by the sound of the Kemper.

I'm seeking the best of both worlds.

    Welcome!

I'm also a new user of the Kemper.

    Warning!
The sounds are highly addictive and can result in euphoric states.

You will be tempted to play for hours and hours.

Just be sure to avoid finger and wrist injury....
Know when to "step away from the Kemper".

    Congrats!

I'm a new user, but a long time digital gear player.

I'm still reveling in the incredible sounds and real guitar feel.

Kemper has knocked the balls out of the park!

I don't know the details of the hardware, but I suspect it is a bit dated by current standards.
Looking at the vintage screen, I'm guessing that the CPU is also vintage.
Forgive my presumption that they may be scrambling to fit new features in to an already full feature set.
Probably not much room for high end studio verbs.

    Kind of a moot point.

    I'm loving the raw sounds.

I almost feel guilty about asking for an editor.

I think I'm seeking the best of both worlds.

I recently came here from the Helix.
Helix is a beautiful box with very cool design and an excellent UI.
Big color screen and incredible routing possibilities.
Numerous effects and easy access to them.
It also includes a fully functional computer editor.

My only problem with the Helix was the sound of the sounds.
Even with much tweaking and adding 3rd party IRs, it never sounded very good to me.
Much better when I'd stack gobs of effects, but the basic sounds never felt good to play.

When the Kemper arrived, I got the K fever.
From the first plug and play, I was amazed.
There is magic in this box.

So now I'm wanting to tweak and create sounds.
I'm finding that the tiny dim screen is not working for me.
Feels like I should wear a mining helmut and goggles. :)
The Kemper UI is great, but I'm spoiled by the Helix UI.

A Kemper editor would be a wonderful addition to an already wonderful product.
