Selling a barely used Mission Engineering Gemini 4U long head case with a 2U cloth removable panel. It was custom ordered with green Marshall style tolex.
The head is 16" deep to accommodate an Axe-Fx II XL+, but will also fit other modelers like the Kemper Power Rack or Line 6 Helix as well. There would just be extra space in the back of the case with a Kemper or Helix due to their shallow depth.
The 2U cloth covered panel is removable as well. Includes 4 rack screws also.
Also, includes a custom made, brand new, never used, Studio Slips clamshell bag that is double padded with leather strips on the bottom for reinforcement and a padded rear pocket on the back with the Mission logo on the front.
$325 shipped & PayPal'd.
No trades please. PM me if interested.[Blocked Image: https://i.imgur.com/5O5FELJ.jpg]

You still looking to trade your power rack for a powered toaster?

Did you make a DI profile? When you made your profile originally, did you have "no cabinet" selected accidentally in the 2nd profiling step where you choose clean or distorted profile?
That would be the only way I could see how you would not be able to edit the cabinet info in Rig Manager. Do you have the latest version of Rig Manager download? Lastest firmware version on your profiler?

I bought the "just play" pack and there are some killer profiles in there!

I can chime in on the Mission KM-212P. I've had one for two months now. I bought it from Sweetwater. Yes, it's the green one.
I like the cab itself a lot. It looks great, has silver grille piping, which is a nice little detail. It's right under 50 lbs., 49.5 lbs. to be exact.
It matches the aesthetics of the Kemper very well, as you can see in BakerySpecial's pic above.Yes it can get loud and feels like home to those of us transitioning from tube amps.
I prefer mine with the cab sims turned off. It does color the sound. The clean profiles sound fine with the cab sims turned on, but distortion profiles, especially heavy ones, don't sound the same to me.
Switching between headphones and the KM-212P cab, I can hear a clear difference. The distorted tones are darker, or muffled sounding to me with the cab sims turned on with the KM-212P.
It just doesn't sound good with them on to my ears. Turn them off and it's awesome through the cab, hence why I'm using the Monitor cab off setting. It feels more like a traditional amp and guitar cab that way, if that makes sense. I'm not using anything fancy for headphones either, if anyone asks. Just CAD MH310 studio headphones.I have not tried any other FRFR setups so I don't have much to compare it to. I do own an EV EKX-12P that I need to try with my Kemper and compare the two. I had the EV before I owned the Kemper for live vocal monitoring and guitar as well. I just haven't got around to plugging it up to the Kemper. I've been mostly happy with the KM-212P so far.
If you're after a true FRFR sound and only that will do, then I'd say don't bother with the KM-212P from Mission. The KM-212P is more of a GRFR speaker.
I talked with Paul at Mission on the phone twice about the cab before I bought it. He's a super nice and helpful guy by the way. If you have any questions call him up and he'll answer anything you want to know.
He said they designed the KM-212P to specifically work with the KPA power-head/power-rack. They tried to get the best sound out of the powered KPA they could with it. He basically said the power-amp in the KPA was the weak spot he thought. He said that the powered Gemini 2 was a better sounding cab to him. Though he did say I would be happy with the KM-212P, which I am, he said if you had both the Gemini 2 and the KM-212P running beside each other, the powered Gemini 2 was the winner. So there's that. I just didn't really want to fork out $1700 for a powered Gemini 2, so I went with the KM-212P.
Will I try a powered Gemini 2 in the future? Probably, I'm a gear-head after all, but I'm happy with my current setup of the powerhead and the KM-212P for now.

Do you guys have any coupon codes that apply to these packs?
-
Do any of the packs include merged profiles?
-
Awesome! Just ordered myself one. Thanks for the advice.
It's 24 gauge AWG wire, so it's perfect for the remote.

Killer profile man, I bought it and it sounds great to me!
Love the JP2C, BE-100 and Powerball profiles as well.
Hell... all of the higher gain ones you have sound great and like the actual amps.
Keep up the good work!
-
Just liked your Facebook page for the 25% discount. Looking forward to the Butterslax profiles!
-
Will you be profiling all three channels?
Will there be merged profiles?
-
I've been wanting to try this amp. I just sent you a message about when it will be available on your site.
Definitely pre-ordering it.
-
Yes, you can connect the speaker output of the powered Kemper to a passive guitar cab, and then use the monitor output on the back of the Kemper to get sound to your active CLR speaker.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Just bought some profiles, looking forward to trying them out. Decided to try some of your profiles first before I go through the trouble of profiling all of my own amps.
Sent you an email for the free pack offer.

Yeah I definitely plan on trying out some of my guitar cabs with the Kemper. I'm just kinda confused on what power the cabs can take. I know the power head does 600 watts, 16 ohm (300 watts) and 8 ohm (600 watts)
Here are the cabs I currently own:
A. Mesa 2x12 Road King cab which has a C90 (90 watt) and V30 (60 watt) in it with 4 ohm mono & 8 ohm stereo inputs.
B. ENGL 2x12 horizontal E212VHB cab, two V30's, 8 ohm mono (120 watts) and 16 ohm stereo (60 watts).
C. Marshall JVMC212 cabinet, one G12 vintage (75 watt) and one G12 heritage (65 watt), 140 watt single 16 ohm mono input.
I guess I need to look into a good DI box if I want to profile the amps themselves and run them through my guitar cabs? Any suggestions? Get the Kemper DI box?
Or... just say F-it and get a FRFR cab like everyone mentions? I do own a EV EKX-12P though, would that work?
Oh, I did read through the profiling guide, but I need to re-read it a little closer as well. Lots to take in.

Welcome! I can't help too much with profiling, but where are you located? I'm in Austin and we have some other Texans here too.
I'm in Fort Worth.
