The British 74x Kemper Profile Pack from Tone Junkie seeks to capture the classic sound of the classic Marsh*** 18 watt combo. Commonly known as the “Bluesbreaker”, it may best be described as a little brother to the JTM45, but with an EL84 power section. We’ve captured 32 profiles from the “B” bright/trem channel, “N” Normal channel, and “J” Jumpered both channels together.

The Super Dark Magik pack is 21 profiles of this amazing little circuit. Channel one is bright and percussive. Channel 2 is full and deep. Jumping these two channels together is where the magic happens. The phase interior is slammed by both channels breaking in the fashion of an old british plexiglass amp but with a more american voice. The M Pack from Tone Junkie contains profiles of 4 amps and 5 different amp/speaker combinations. The "AC20" profile set features the 2 EL84 amp paired with Greenbacks while the "AC20X" profile set features the same amps paired with Blues. The "RCA" profile sets and "PR12" profile 12 cover the more "American" tone, and the "MV45" covers some early "Marsh***" ground. The M Pack consists of 70 beautifully captured profiles.

I would say so, they gave us delays that we can specifically feed only into the reverb block which makes them way more flexible. Check out these videos I made on it. I've attached samples of everything you hear in those videos in case you want to download and try them.

These were two amps I really enjoyed profiling lately. The JTM45 has all sorts of touch sensitivity and responds really well to your guitar's volume knob. Carr Rambler was a beautiful clean great for blues, pop, jazz, etc.

Profile Crate has a free Mesa Mark V pack right now that does Cleans, tweed break up and all the way up to metal.

Regarding Stomps, It is a bit disappointing that kemper doesn't add a few more stomps. Just 3-4 more OD stomps would really round out the selection. A blues breaker style overdrive is pretty much a no brainer, pedals like the KOT which go for 500 bucks and the very popular JHS Morning Glory ands Snouse Black Box are all based on that circuit. It's a classic and it would be cool to have one. A KLON stomp is another one. They are just so common and copied that it would be really nice to have.

They gave us better reverbs, lets hope that they are working on a few more stomp engines.

Me too! Plus I think we could pretty closely match all sorts of stomp boxes to stomp/EQ presets in the Kemper!

I was sitting around experimenting and I started thinking, "I wish the Kemper had a blues breaker style overdrive in the OD stomps, like the KOT or Morning glory etc. So I put a graphic EQ after the Green Scream to remove the midhump and I think it came out with pretty good results. It's sort of approaching the sound of a bluesbreaker style circuit. Next I'm planning to actually sit down with a Morning Glory or Bluesbreaker and try to dial it even as close as possible.
