Simple solution but why not get the bass player to cover the other part?

The other guitarist that I play with most is my brother. We're like one organism when playing together. Whoever is playing rhythm just naturally backs off a bit without letting the song energy fall flat. When I play with a "one-volume basher" I'm always astounded that they have no sense of the dynamics and interplay - just bash bash bash.
I played with one of those in a recent band, and they were so bad that they would step on their boost each time they heard me kick mine in for a solo. I hated every minute of it and the experience has totally put me off two guitar bands.

Update: Kemper support was able to help me out and my toaster is all roaring and screaming! Much thanks!
What was the issue?
-
Thanks, it isn't doing it anymore so I'll keep an eye on it for now

Hi there, I get the above error on start up now.
I presume an internal battery needs replacing? Can anyone provide details of the battery and process for replacement, ideally as a guide or video please?
Cheers
Dave

You won't win much support with that tone. The Kemper isn't a small investment so it may have been wise to check it met your needs before your purchase?

Likewise I agree that if everything sounds okay until the other guy comes in then that is likely to be where the problem is. Hence suggesting getting the room to EQ things out as a band.
Some the best advice I was given for EQ'ing a two guitar band was that someone has to be happy being Robin so the other can be Batman.

Band EQ'ing is a team sport. There's no magic bullet in the Kemper that removes the need to spend time in the room with everyone and the PA getting the band dialled in.

I suspect they probably resolved this somewhere during the five year gap between their post and yours

Thanks, looks like they are 15 euro's on there though

How do I order these please?

I've tried multiple FRFR and guitar cabs. Of the two I prefer FRFR for ease of setting up rigs that will sound similar through the PA.
I prefer the Kemper Kabinet to either option. But weirdly at the moment I'm hooked up to 2x12 panhead config guitar cab right now.

My definition of better is being closer to sounding like the source. For me, If I can get the feed to the board to sound just like it sounds in front of my cabinet, That's better.
My question was for the OP really.
However the FOH sound won't be similar the sound directy in front of your cab unless you use FRFR. An onstage guitar cab isn't in the same tonal ballpark as a mic'ed FOH sound.

That depends on your definition of better

is there anyone that can point me to a video or something that actually explains my situation better?
I can’t be the only one using this in this way
But can’t find any real help
Thanks in advance
Have you gone through the tutorials on the Kemper website? They cover most of what you are asking around set up.

You can already make a dual amp profile or a ten amp profile if you so desire. It is a profiler not a modeller, so the ability to load two separate profiles that weren't designed to work together would be unlikely to produce a desirable sound.

If I had no problems, I wouldn't be asking. I still have a lot to learn and I'm just looking for help and keep learning.
Greetings
I understand that you need help but there isn't a magic bullet on the Kemper to "fix" what you are asking .
A room with a low ceiling does not need the same solution as mixing for an outdoor festival. Even a change from an relatively empty venue to a full one later in the evening will require some change. And these changes are best made at the mixer not the amp / Kemper.
The Kemper's job is to deliver great sound for an engneer to fit in to a live (or studio) mix. I feel your question and it's answer are more in the domain of "how do I mix my live band for the various venue's we play" rather than something specific to the Kemper.
