In the meantime, back to the good old “Fulltone supa-trem”. It’s not tempo-based when I don’t want it to be and it doesn’t need any updates.

So.., no reaction from Kemper so far. I would really love to see what they think about this...? Maybe they even have a solution for this probleme.
In the meanwhile: tapping tempo delay means all other fx in that patch (like trem, chorus, etc) are also being tempo synced. ☹️

This is a major oversight forcing all time based effects to lock to a tempo speed. They should be independent.
Coming from Axe fx and later a combination of boss ms3 with Kemper this feels like a shortcoming.

I also asked for this feature last year.
Did you get any response from Kemper last year?

So, I played around with this: in the Rig Menu, I tried several configurations of tempo enable and lock tempo. I even tried locking the tempo enable unchecked. But, as I assume y'all have surmised, as soon as you press the tap tempo button, all revert to tap tempo. Don't have time right now to delve in further but there may be a way (read "work around").
This is exactly the probleme, and there seems to be no workaround..

Requesting a tremolo option : "Don’t follow tap tempo"
As soon as I tap delay the tremolo rate changes with it.
Sometimes that's a good thing but sometimes you ONLY want to change the delay..
This should be pretty easy to fix.
Tnx for listening.
