The reason I'm being so pushy is to protect real profilers (like yourself, when you prove it), from unscrupulous types that may try to pass off pirated and slightly tweaked profiles.

Only two performances are worth the price of a single package. My customers so far hardly satisfied. Clearly they are profiles dedicated to professionals

I run about 6-7 kHz

I've been messing with the Kemper Compressor since I got it and still can't get my head around the controls. I used to think I knew how to drive a compressor, but really struggle with that one. I use a Bogner Lyndhurst compressor in front now and it's much nicer to me and has more traditional settings.

I ordered a Kab about 2 weeks ago from down here in NZ and it arrived in the country in about 14 days. I think you just need to breathe and know that they do what they say they will.
Now it's stuck - I'm assuming in quarantine. Something to look forward to when the lockdown eases and certainly nothing to do with the good people at Kemper.

I always record bass with an almost imperceptible amount of compression on it. It levels things out, keeps it punchy, and actually improves my performance.
Good strings and a nice bass are really important as well, IMO.
Nice even pressure with the fretting hand, just up next to the fret helps prevent the rattle of the string as you release the note and sounds cleaner and punchier.

Just change the quantity to 2 or4 and the discount will apply. ?
I can see that option on the UK site, but not for Australia. Can you see something I can't?

I don't think it's really a tool for use in a band context. I'd use a dedicated looper pedal for that.

Welcome!
I think you're not alone in your complaint that the metal sound from the Kemper isn't exactly like a cranked Mesa Boogie or 5150 into a 4x12. Almost all of the unhappy Kempers I've read are after that sound and miss the chug chug.
-
No worries - it may or may not work for you. I find it tightens up the sound a lot.

Have you tried a Studio EQ in the X slot with a high-cut at about 6K? That should get rid of the fizz. I suspect Tom's engineer also does this on his miked signal.
-
I just use a separate performance slot for my lead sound.

FRFR mode as in Kemper Kone ON, Imprints OFF? Yes I have played into a 2x12 EVH...sold the 5150 to get the Kemper of course
I had a Marshall 1960 4x12 before that but didn't own the kemper yet. I think I'm just coming to the conclusion the Kone itself is probably just fine and maybe a great idea to throw those in a 2x12 or 4x12, but a 1x12 just can't give me a enough for heavy rock, metal, or high gain playing where that low-end thump is needed. You just need more Kones. ?

There's lots of excess in that rig, that's for sure.
The most important bit for chicken pickin they just glossed over. Each of his pedal boards has a compressor on it, which IMO is the most important for that.
