I just got it, but I am still trying to program it

Hi there! I bought my Kemper Profiling head 2 months ago and I am having and incredible hard time finding a decent tone with all of the profiles... Honestly I don't know if my unit is broken or it's me... I have good guitars and good recording equipment and also I am recording my own music for a while now. My Kemper has that harsh/grainy tone in all of the presets and I can't take it off. I've been reading about it and doing the things people proposed in those forums, but nothing happens. it sounds the same way through a cabinet and recording...
