What's your process?
I posted this a while back in another forum: http://www.robchapman.tv/forum…q-ir-tone-matching.37704/

Are you using DI profiles, since you're using a cabinet? If so, you might want to add a cabinet to the profile for recording.

The issue most likely has to do with Scarlett Mix Control.
Attached are a couple of screenshots of my Scarlett settings.
In the DAW, I set up a SEND and set that to SPDIF out. I set all dry tracks to that SEND, and MUTE them, so nothing is going to the SEND. When I want to ReAmp, I UNMUTE that track and record into another track.
Give these settings a shot.

One caveat of Tone Match IRs is that when you tone match to a song, by using a solo'd track, you have to understand that you're matching a post production track. I was obsessed with George Lynch (ok, I still am), and I would tone match anything I could. I literally tone matched everything from solo'd tracks to his videos.
By themselves, the tone matched IR sounded VERY harsh. It was only playable when playing with a band.
Since getting the Kemper, I have found that I was better off getting a profile of his amp, than any EQ matched IR. It sounded fuller, and better. If you still want to go down that rabbit hole (and it is an rabbit hole), I can go through the steps I used. But, I guarantee you will be happier with a profile of that person's amp than the EQ matched IR.

Anyone try this?

Max!!!! Max was the best salesman that I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. Whenever he saw me walking into the store, he would grab me and have me check out all the latest gear. Awesome guy!!!.All the best Max. You deserve it!!!

I have both the 500 and the 200 series Kamikaze and Sunburst Tiger I'm a big fan of the Lynch 500 series, since they were made of the same materials as the ESPs. I also have a Burnt Tiger, which is a great guitar. The 200 series is a major step down. That's why I asked. I've been "jonesing" for the green Kamikaze since first seeing the ad. If it's like the 500 series, or the Burnt Tiger, I'm all in. But, if it's more like the 200 series, I'm out.

You might be able to get a used Atomic Amplifire 3 at a decent price, now that they have a 12 and a 6 pedal model.

Thank you so much!!! Happy Easter to you all!!!

My latest pickup for my 80's cover band
No no no!!! I was fighting the G.A.S. for this guitar with everything I have, and now you post these pics!!! Hello my name is Lespauled and I'm a guitar-aholic.
Does it play like the 500-600 LTD series? or the 200 LTD series?

I basically have the same setup, without any hum. I have the KRK 6's G2. Not a but of hum.
Kemper + GR-55 + Microphones + Keyboards => Focusrite 18i20 output to KRK 6s.

One of the most powerful options on the Graphic EQ is high-pass and low-pass. Play with those. It can drastically change any profile. It's chock full of options. Definitely one of the first effects anyone should learn how to use.
-
Why not just use a regex to rename them?
-
Works perfectly for me with my FCB-1010 and EurekaProm chip.
-
Did you back it up before tweaking it?
-
You can leave them ALL on the Kemper, and only show Favorites using the filter option for Favorites.
-
Excellent work, especially on the call/response rhythm.
-
Wow, some of the clean profiles are spectacular. Thanks!!!!
-
What is your output set to (in the output menu)?
-
That approximately $16 US. cool
