I use universal rigs. Four rigs for every band I play in. Within those rigs I like to switch effects on and off. That's when a lot of buttons come in handy.
Sound good. Wah- and volumepedals assignable, I presume. Sounds like a good alternative as well.
Is the fcb1010 with the Eurekaprom-chip able to turn on/off all the stomps? Is that a good choice?
Suggestions:
- Roland FC-200 / FC-300
- Rocktron MIDI Raider
- Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro
I will take a look, thanks
Since you have already done the programming, you could get a used Line 6 for cheap (or even two) and clone them from your current pedal.
Yes, you're right. forgot that part. Thanks
Well, the Line6 does it quite fine with twelve switches and a dual-assignable footpedal. Just wondering if there are more alternatives that can do the same, or more.
Programming is done once and after that it's copy-paste and adjust the preset.
Long ago I used to wrap a Boss GT6 in kitchen foil. It's transparant and you can make holes on places like a ventilator and in-/outputs. Worked really well for me then.
Oh, it's easy, light and cheap ..
Is your computercable broken?
Can you see the rigs that are uploaded by users?
Perhaps you could try to lower the gain on the Kemper.
I'm very happy with the triple play. And that is awesomely wireless.
Due to corona, there was no urge for me to get a new midi-controller. Now I'm searching again. So, the question remains: what is a good alternative for a Line6 hd500x? Fcb1010 is not an alternative.
I would like the possibility
- to turn every individual stomp on/off
- to use built-in pedal(s) for volume and wah
- not to be too expensive.
What's on the market?
Does this also happen when you use another guitar?
When you put boost before the Stack, it'll play with your gain, but there won't be a difference in volume.
Put a boost (like pure boost) behind the stack and you'll be able to play with the volume.
What I found:
Power Amp Booster
As mentioned, the power amp is internally connected to the MONITOR OUTPUT, which provides enough headroom to support even the loud attacks and transients of clean guitars. However, this comfortable headroom will naturally lower the signal volume for the power amp, so you might not achieve the desired loudness. Turning up the "Power Amp Boost" will increase the volume loudness by up to 12 dB, in addition to the other volume controls in the signal flow, such as "Monitor Volume" or "Rig Volume". The "Power Amp Boost" has no further impact to the sound or dynamics of the power amp. When the power amp is switched off, the "Power Amp Boost" is deactivated, thus returning the full signal headroom to the MONITOR OUTPUT.
In the outputsection you can choose which 'output source' you sent to the output. Perhaps there is something set wrong.
Or you might have the 'stomps'-button turned off.
Which stomps do you use in the Kemper? They might cause unwanted squealing when they're not set properly. For instance a compressor+drive+distortion+eq in front of the Stack might go bananas.
Check the settings of the stomps.
I'm sorry I thought you mentioned that there might be settings you overlooked.
Then it's broken.
Pure Cabinet might help with the harshness.
Clean Sense-settings?
