    i change the settings in the mix control and it still dont work. in my DAW i have no other possibilieties to route the inputs and outputs as seen in this screenshot:

    and still if i change the kemper input source to SPDIF input reamp it comes no signal


    I watched your video a few days ago :) i dont know what to do now

    Hi Guys,


    I use a Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 Audio Interface.


    here are my setup for Saffire Mix Control for ReAmping:



    Kemper Output Menue:


    SPDIF Output Git / Stack


    Everything works fine, i can record the DI Git (SPDIF left channel) and the Stack (SPDIF right channel)


    But if I try to Reamp with the follwing settings it doesent work:



    Reamp TRACK settings:


    Kemper Setting:
    Input Source: SPDIF Input Reamp


    Saffire Mix Control:
    SPDIF 1 ------> SPDIF Output one (as seen in saffire mix control picture)


    ProTools First Settings:
    Input: SPDIF L/R Left channel
    Output: SPDIF L/R


    if i record the ReampTrack it comes no signal as seen in the picture above


    Maybe you can help me to fix this and make it work :)

  • Graphic EQ stomp

    Thank you for helping and your link is great :) ... if you see this stomp 1st time its looks crazy but now i figured out some things and work witch each single band and i think the result was great only with adjusting the frequenzies a little bit (range between + 3db) and work on the high and low cut. Use the graphic EQ in the x slot in the effects section.

  • Graphic EQ stomp

    Hi Guys,


    I read a lot about the Graphic EQ stomp and High Cut and Low Cut, Midboost for solos.... But I dont understand all the possible Pages from this Stomp. I am searching here in the Commnity but i cant found detailled information about how to use the stomp and how the parameters work together. I tweek Proifls a lot but never use the Graphic EQ. Maybe you could give me some explantion how I have to start working with this stomp (worflow)?


    I use Kemper (powered) into passive FRFR cabinet in the Rehersal room. My Main target is to edit Profiles with the graphic EQ till they sounds good for my ears. At the moment I twerk the Profiles in the AMP Section with Definition, Power Sagging, Clarity and with the normal EQ nub bass, middle, treble, presence volume and gain.

  • Passive FRFR-Lösung - Red Sound - Mission - Matrix etc. - hat jemand Erfahrung?

    nein den Spark gibt es auch als passive Box, das war nämlich meine erste Idee damals bis ich mich für das BlueAmp Beast entschieden habe für den druck im Proberaum.


    Mein Tipp:
    Es kommt bald eine Variante vom Beast raus in kompatker Bauform. Verrbaut ist ein 12 Zoll speaker vom Beast und diese Box werde ich mir für zuhause noch holen.


    Aber der Marco vom Blueamps hilft dir da sicher weiter. Falsch machen kannst du da gar nichts. Bin vollkommen zufrieden vom Sound und überhaupt.

    Ich habe das TS Patch-Kabel austgetauscht, das war der Grund warum es am Monitor OUT und Mono in vom Sennheiser nicht funktioniert hatte. Ich hab das heute mal in der Bandprobe so getestet und es hat prima funktioniert. (Wir spielen alle Mono)


    Kemper Main OUT (Master Mono) in das Mischpult per XLR Kabel


    Monitor Out (Master Mono) per TS-Patchkabel in den linken Input (mono) des Sennheiser


    AUX Signal vom Pult (FOH Mix ohne meine Gitarre) per XLR Kabel in den rechten Input des Sennheiser


    Sennheiser auf Modus Focus gestellt, so das ich per Bodypack Empfänger die Balance zwischen FOH (rechts) und Gitarre (links) einstellen kann.


    Das hat super funktioniert. Gibt bestimmt wie angesproche bessere Lösungen aber da wir die Gigs oft selber mischen über unsere PA ist das eine gute Lösung

    oh ja das weiß ich natürlich, hab ich mich vertippt vorher... ich meine natürlich Instrumentenkabel (TS) wollte Klinke schreiben nicht Chinch :( ...
    Ich hab das jetzt vorläufig anders gelöst mit einem TS auf TRS Kabel über den Main Out des Kempers (TS) in den Eingang vom Sennheiser (TRS) wenn das bestellte XLR Kabel dann geliefert wird verwende ich dann das.


    Der Monitor Out hat immer Saft, da ich im Proberaum über eine passive FRFR Box spiele und den Kemper mit Endstufe habe.


    könntest du mir mal einen link schickden welches kabel du verwendest, weil mit meinem Instrumentenkabel hat ers nicht geklappt :)

    Hallo,


    bin seit heute Besitzer eines Sennheiser EW 300 In Ear Systems. Um zu testen wollte ich es an den Kemper anschließen. Meine Idee:


    Kemper Main Out left oder Monitor out per Cinch Kabel in dein Eingang des Sennheiser. Ich habe leider kein XLR Kabel bei mir zuhause, welches Chinch Kabel muss ich verwenden? Reicht ein TS Instrumentenkabel oder muss es ein TRS Stereokabel sein. Mit dem Instrumentenkabel hab ich es getestet, leider kommt da kein Ton...


    Eine vielleicht blöde Frage, aber ich komme gerade nicht weiter.

  • FRFR Box Monitor / Bühnenbox

    Also hier mal mein Kommentar zum Thema,


    ich habe mich auch lange mit dem Thema FRFR Cabinets für den Profiler auseinandergesetzt. Allerdings rein auf passive Cabinets bezogen, da ich einen Kemper mit Endstufe besitze. Kurz und knapp hab ich mich dann final für Blueamps BEAST passiv entschieden.


    test BEAST


    Ich habe das BEAST zuhause gespielt. (KLingt auch leise sehr gut) primär steht das Cabinet aber im Proberaum. Wir spielen primär High Gain und ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass die Box sich locker gegen die 4x12er Box vom anderen Gitarristen zurchsetzt, eher im Gegenteil, ich musste mehrmals leiser drehen.


    Mein Tipp: Einfach mal mit Bluemps (Marco) kontavt aufnehmen. Das Beast wird es bald im Kompatkgehäuse als 1x12er Box geben (ab April 2018) und ich denke das könnte für viele eine sehr gute Lösung sein, da das Beast schon fast zuviel Power hat mit einer Maximalen Lautstärke von 135db.


    Zugegeben nicht ganz billig aber in sachen Qualität über alle Zweifel erhaben.

  • Kemper Video Lernkurs

    Hello...


    ich hab mich auch schon durch den Kurs gearbetet und muss sagen, dass sehr gute Praxistipps enthalten sind, die einem das Leben wirklich leichter machen. Ich hab mich mit dem Kemper schon viel auseinandergesetzt gerade was Basic Handbuch und Referenzhandbuch betrifft, aber gerade was das Verständnis für einige Parameter betrifft hatte ich bei den Videos wirklich einige AHA Erlebnisse. Es wird nicht auf den Workflow mit dem RIG Manager eingegangen was ich ein bisschen schade finde, da man sich dadurch das erstellen von Performances wirklich sehr vereinfachen kann. Aber klar es schadet auch nicht zu wissen wie man dieselben Operationen sozusagen on the fly durchführen kann.


    Sehr gut fand ich die Erklärungen was den STACK betrifft und speziell die AMP Sektion wird sehr ausführlich erklärt und es wird über jeden Punkt im Menü ausführlich gesprochen. Gerade in der AMP Sektion hat man meiner Meinung nach auch den größen Einfluss den Sound an seine Spielweise anzupassen.


    Es wird generell darauf verzichtet zu sehr ins Detail zu gehen gerade was Effekte betrifft. Die Videos sind so aufgebaut, dass man einen sehr präzisen Überblick über die wichtigsten Punkte bekommt, damit man mit dem Kemper durchstarten kann. Aber klar 5 Stunden Videomaterial währen auch nicht ausreichend wenn man jeden Effekt und Parameter bis ins Detail beleuchtet.


    Fazit:


    Der Kurs ist auf alle Fälle lohnenswert. Ich denke nach dem man sich die Zweit Tage zeit genommen hat, weiß man sicher mehr um was es geht und wie man seinen Sound und seine Workflows findet um für sich das Beste aus dem Profiler zu holen

    Hello,...


    I am also rather new in the kemper familiy, but try the following:


    1. set the first effekt to the remote switch by pressing the soft taster oft the effect on the kemper amp and the switch on the remote the same time
    2. do the same with the second effect stomp on the kemper amp and the same switch as before. Now you have both effects on and of with the same switch on the remote
    3. simply turn off one effekt by pressing the effekt soft taster on the kemper amp
    4. if you now press the footswitch button on the remote on and of you alternate between the two stomps.


    hope this helps you...


    edit:... i think its not possible to activate both effets indipendent by pressing footswichs. One Effect will be always on if you do it like i mentioned above... but maybe I am wrong
