Make sure you make your Kemper a Clock Host and your Scarlett a slave (internal sync should be changed to S/PDIF) and check the frequency: in your project/Focusrite control and Profiler, it should be the same.

Great feedback - good to know about the XLR's. Did you have any issues with driver stability or updates ( Mac OS X) ?
At your service, mate!
No, not a single one. Also the Focusrite Control software really helps with routing and monitoring everything from DIs to main outs and spdifs.

Hi!
I use Scarlett 18i20 2nd gen, it’s really comfy and good sounding via analogs. The point is - the mic preamps activate just at the moment you connect XLRs, so my advice - use TS/TRS cables to connect your Kemper or use S/PDIF, since mic preamps (turned on when XLR connected) manage to worsen the audio quality and add some noticeable noise.
Good luck!

I'm having this problem even before the update. I allways use RM to update.
Maybe this is the point. I updated profiler via RM this time and that's when it all began. Try re-installing the update, but with a flash drive. This might fix the problem.

Peromustejn I have a same problem since updating to the final release, mate. My profiler froze twice while running rig manager. How did you install the update? Did you do it with a flash drive or via RM? I guess this one matters.

After updating my Kemper froze twice. Did the rig check on startup, everything is fine so far, but still a bit weird. The sound clips a bit too. W e i r d.
