Hod Rod Deville 3 by C.Kemper
Very nice dancing on the edge of breakup with my telecaster.
Without any effects except a reverb.

I found the solution buried deep in the manual at the dalay's description !
(May there should be a hint about the influence to spillover)
I changed the delay's mix: post to mix:pre
Now it's spilling over and over and over and over and over
and I am soooo happy ! Yehaaaa !
@Helge thanks for your fast response.
The ticket can be closed.
Thanks for your answer !
I didn't hear a spillover because I usually use morph for solo sounds.
I raise the gain and the delay's feedback and mix. (works great btw !)
I figured out that after activating morph spillover is missing at changing the rig.
Change the rig without morphing : spillover ok.
Raising delay's feedback and mix manually then change the rig : spillover ok, too.
Is it a bug ? Shall I open a ticket ?

In the manual I cannot find any limitations due to morphing,
so I don´t know, is it a bug or is it intended behaviour.
The only restriction I found : delay at the delay slot, reverb at the reverb slot.
This I´ve done correctly.
I hope one of the kemper specialists knows more about it.
I was missing spillover since approx. 1254 years...
Delay is located at the delay slot, reverb at the reverb slot.
In Rig menu page 1 the checkbox for "Rig spillover Off" is off.
But I never heard a nice spillover...
Why ? Now I figured out :
I am usually incrementing rig´s volume and delay feedback/mix a little by morphing in order to get a nice solo sound (works great!)
Morphing is engaged by re-pressing the same footcontroller´s button.
Changing the rig from a unmorphed sound => spill-over
Changing the rig from a morphed sound => NO spill-over
Am I doing someting wrong ?
Is there a trick hidden in the manual (I read, but found none)
(I am always using the browser mode, for me it feels more simple)
EDIT : Actual software is OS 7.5.3.18561B,
but as mentioned above, I never heard a nice spill-over before
Best regards
Bernhard
Check settings of the tap, tuner and looper buttons in the settings menu : they can be assigned to different functions
Thanks, that was the point, now it works as usual.
Nevertheless - Beta or not - I didn´t read anything about changings button assigning in the release notes.
So I CAN NOT follow how this can happen.
And this is not the first time users are complaining about manipulated settings after a firmware update.
I really like my toaster and also the kemper´s support,
and I will help them with betatesting.
But I wished they would be a little more careful at this point.
Smells a little like side effects ... (I´m a professional hard & software developer, and testing software, too)
Repeating : Data and code are to be separated strictly.
Aber es ist nicht grün.

OS 7.5.1.18252 public beta PROBLEM All sounds bad
I hope the kempers can fix it soon, cause I didn´t like the phasing GreenScream.
But I am not angry, it´s Beta firmware.
THX, digbob, you saved my soul !
After booting the previous 7.5.018050B into my toaster the sound is as good as usual.
From my point of view it´s not recommended to load the 7.5.1.18252 beta !
After upgrading from very first 7.5.???? beta to 7.5.1.18252 beta via USB-Stick all sounds are ugly, cheap, thin.
Sounds like playing with a 2" speaker.
I checked all settings at the output section, everything´s fine.
Output lowcut is 110Hz, reducing to 20Hz doesn´t help.
Anyone else having this problem ?
Where can I download the previous 7.5.1 beta ?
In desperation

(in 16 hours I want to go to rehearsal)
You should check then if your favorite clean amp sounds are too week as well, compared to gainy sounds.
In this case you should readjust Clean Sense accordingly for your guitar. This will also affect Acoustic Simulator Rigs.
I also wish the AcSim would have a "Volume" Parameter.
I use it like an effect pedal in front of the famous Morgan AC20 rig with decreased gain to have a clean base.
Turning on the Simulator gives me a very good acoustic sound, but the simulator steals a little dynamics.
A volume parameter (as I can see in many other effects) could compare that to my personal taste.

Bernhard
PS.: 24523452 Thanks for low&high cut in the output section !
The Acoustic Simulator works fine with the Morgan AC20 rig !
I used it in the 1st slot and the brigde PU of my tele.
But it's stealing a little dynamics and punch.
So, please, dear Kempers, add a volume parameter !
Kannste bedenkenlos kaufen. sehr ordentliche hardware und plug and play.
