I have unpowered rack. When I go to the Output settings I see the Kone feature on page 7.

I think that updating with USB flash drive is a safer way then updating with Rig Manager. You can update the OS in RM also. Just go to the Help menu and click on Check for Software Updates.
-
You have to use latest OS for your Kone to work. Your current OS does not support the kone function.
Go to the https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads
and download the new firmware for you Kemper - pick the correct one for stage or rack/head.
Put the file kaos.bin into folder named OS Update on your flash drive. Then put the flash drive into your kemper (must be already turned on) and start the firmware update.
-
When you turn on your kemper, there will be visible info about OS version for a short time under the KEMPER PROFILER inscription (release 7.x.x.)
-
Hello,
what version of Kemper OS and Rig Manager do you have?
-
Hi buddy
These are my new ones and are already included in my latest revision of my mega pack (v6.99).

Hello

Yes, I know that, but I am on the latest OS in Kemper and RM...
Renaming to kipr does not work.
I also recieved your update, will try it when home from work.
We will solve this, don't worry Can you give me names of the profiles that cause you these issues?
-
Hi , just downloaded your Megapack and imported the profiles, but import of the Mesa- profiles could not be imported, "Import has failed ... RM didn´t find any suitable files ....this happens when the items are damaged or unknown..." -message appears.
Tried the good old USB stick, but Profiler does not recognise them as well
has someone an idea what to do?
Check you e-mail buddy, I sent you the profiles in the *.kipr format.

Weird. What OS do you have in Kemper? My latest profiles are in the *.krig format so if you have older firmware you have to rename the file extensions from *.krig to *.kipr. Does it work for you?

They sound killer Peter. Great job. Just bought the whole pack!
Thank you so much buddy

Hi mate, those are part of your latest full pack, right? Bought that some time ago and enjoy the updates since then. Can really recommend your stuff. Lots of profiles and well done
Yes, they are from my recent updates. I have slightly modified my profiling process to improve the profiles a little bit

Hello friends,
I made another free pack for you all to try so feel free to download them and give them a spin
-
Hello again
Another BIG update is ready for you to try This time I profiled a very nice Salvation MTS module called Camerock that is inspired by famous Cameron CCV amp. This module is quite versatile and you can get a nice clean to really aggressive rhythm and lead sound from it. Then I profiled Orange Rockerverb 100 mk2 - a really nice and versatile amp used with amazing clean, crunch and filthy fuzz-like distortion. I used some settings from bands like Sepultura and Slipknot ( from their guitar rig videos on YT ) and much more. The last profiled amp is mighty Diezel VH4. I profiled all channels and also settings like Tool's Adam Jones, SikTh, etc... And I made some new IRs of my favourite MESA Boogie OS 4x12 with different mic positions and then even mixed some of the IRs together. The number of profiles in the pack is about 520 and the price is still 9.99$
Content of the pack:
AMPS: Diezel Herbert mk I, Dual Rectifier 2ch rev F, Dual Rectifier 3ch Multi-Watt, Engl E580 MIDI preamp + E840/50 poweramp, Engl Savage 120 mk I, Framus Cobra, Mesa Boogie Mark IV vB, Peavey 6505+ (just a few profiles), Salvation Audio MTS Mods (Camerica, Custom 3, Dreadplate, Mash-All, Shiver, Terrier, Stonerverb DeLarge version and NEW module - CAMEROCK), VHT Pittbull Ultralead with graphic EQ, VX Kraken and NEW Orange Rockerverb 100W mk2 and NEW Diezel VH4.
CABS: Mesa OS412, Engl Pro412 V30, Hardbox 212XL V30, HOT 2x12 V30+G12-75T

Hi! Tell me, can I use BIG SHOT ABY (true bypass amplifier switcher) instead of PROFILER DI BOX?
Is there a danger of connecting through it? He is passive.
Don't do it. You will severly damage your Kemper if you use this pedal instead DI box. You really need a DI box because it will give you a line level signal for your Kemper. ABY switchers will not lower the signal to line level and you will fry the Kemper.

Hi folks
I have made another update to my MEGA pack of kemper profiles. So what is new... I profiled a really versatile MTS module called Stoneverb from Salvation Audio for some Orange-like sounds (from clean and crunch to really metal higain) and reprofiled some of my most favourite amps with a different approach to profiling process then before (and it made a difference). And you get also a new CAB IRs of my 2x12 HOT amps cab with V30 + G12-75T speakers. So if you buy this pack you will get about 441 profiles now The price is still a bargain at 9.99$

Petr

Hi, you can try some of my profiles here - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1cw…fQPB7MfbaK9Lan_L3GkpJB1Mw
Don't be affraid to turn the gain a little bit lower because I like to profile amps with a lot of gain and then adjust it to the taste.
Have fun
Petr
