I do hear it.
I use 5 different guitars, different pups, tons of different profiles and never had a similar issue.
Do you hear this on all individual KPA outputs?

Stupid question here, but did you try swapping guitar cables?

Awesome. Let's have a "toast" !!!!!!!!!!!

Since we already have Rig Manager I don't think Rig Manager with a built in editor would cause more problems.
Maybe you're right....but Rig Manager is a simple web/usb application that transfers small preset files to the KPA. Controlling the whole unit through it is a different ballgame, in my opinion.

I don't think we'll see any kind of editor any time soon. At if we ever do, you can bet it won't be a freebie.
As software is being installed on various computer environments, hardware and operating systems, this would definitely bring its fair share or problems for some users which will require a lot of tech support. Also, users would be asking for additional features and bug fixes all the time. Kemper would have to manage a support team just for the editor.
Based on user's opinions on this forum, not everyone would buy one. I assume they would have to sell it at quite a high price in order to provide such support.
If Kemper thought an editor would be a good business move, it would have been available a long time ago.
That said, I would buy it.............

Welcome aboard!

Better late than never....!
Welcome!! -
Bought mine back in November and I did hesitate to pull the trigger for the same reason; what if they release a new product a few weeks later....
That said, no regrets whatsoever, though I'm not sure about getting full return on your investment if a newer model is introduced on the market.

good tone is highly subjective. always.
if you struck gold, why keep digging?
also in my experiences pretty much any Profile can sound great if the user is able to work with it. And I don't mean tweak the Profile - simply by selecting the right guitar (pickup) and playing style you can make any Profile breathe - just like an amp.A pre recorded loop won't do this.
Agreed.
Selecting a profile and playing a few chords usually sparks a few classic riffs which used similar gear and I know pretty quickly if the profile is a keeper.
Sometimes I'll switch guitars with different pups just to make sure.
For me, trying out new amps is a big part of the fun of owning a Kemper....love it. -

Welcome!
I'm also a recent Kemper owner (November) and it still amazes me every time I use it. -

Hello, Guys, glad to join the community!!
Been playing for over 40 years, and working in a small studio space, the KPA is just what I needed. Took me a while, but I got smart.....
Just spent the first couple of hours with my new toy. I am amazed.
Still have lots (tons) to learn, but first impressions - the unit has some nice preloaded tones, but the Michael Britt's rigs
are on a class of their own.
Also very impressed with the bass sounds, didn't expect that.Anyways, I'll certainly have some questions at some point, but happy to join the forum and talk to you soon.
