I normaly use morph for solo.
I add a bit of gain, change eq setting (just a little more middle) and +3 or+4 db in rig volume.
Hi,
The newest have REV/DLY mark.
There are other differences such as "PROFILER" that replaced 'PROFILING AMPLIFIER" lettering and the silkscreen prints around the knobs.
I believe the changes date back to the second half of 2017.
It's only aesthetic difference.
Older rack and head have "Profiling Amplifier" on the front.
From 2017 only "Profiler".
I can’t remember the date but I believe the change to “Profiling Amplifier” happened quite some time before the Stage and the “new” Rack/Head hardware.
You are right.
My Profiler Head is from the end of 2017 and say "Profiler"
Use Rig volume or Volume in amp section.
This is a normal behavior for KPA.
Likewise when you adjust gain you don't change output volume.
You can find rise time and fall time in Rig menu.
You can use morph on Rig volume or on volume in amp module.
It's not about being defensive in favor of the current model.
It's more to be against a system (DRM) that does nothing against those who illegally use a product (profile, audio file, ebook, Photoshop, Protools, etc.), but creates inconvenience to the legal owner who have paid for the product.
Here a video of Kemper Drive Vs. Real pedal.
It is in italian, but i think is clear how good Kemper's work is.
Hi Ermanno,
what guitar are you trying to record?
An acoustic guitar with piezo or acoustic guitar with also mic on board?
Another benefit of having only one stomp is that you can, for example, go from a TS to a Klon using morphing.
You can assign effect in page Remote Effect Buttons in Rig Setting.
Press and hold one of the four soft buttons, and press effect module button.
Have you set the input of expression pedal like wah in System Settings?
Ha ve you checked "Wah to volume" setting?
I believe that reading the manual is mandatory if you want to fully understand a machine like the KPA.
It doesn't matter if you use it with physical keys or with RM.
Only 1 TRS cable required.
1 TSR cable for expression and 1 TS cable if you want to use the switch on the pedal
