Reading here and there on the forum I saw lot of users bought Vandamme (preassembled) ethernet cable as replacement for remote. Since I can make some ethernet plugs by my self, I bought 7 meters of Vandamme tourcat 5e cable and made the ethernet plugs at the ends. The problem is that I get less brightness on the remote compared with the original cable, I tested the cable and works fine and the plugs are made well. Any suggestion?

I bought the same cable as said in the thread, but I made the plugs at the end by my self. I tested the cable and is working fine but I get less light on the remote.

Hi i just bought 7m of Vandamme tourcat 5e cable and made the plugs with the ethercon on one end. I measured the new cable aside of the original from kemper and they are of the same length. The problem is that with the original I have a 100% brightness instead with the vandamme I have less brightness of the leds and also of the screen. Any suggestion?

I would like to split the 2 XLR left and right on the kp into 4 xlr outputs (2 couples of left and right). Need this because i use both electric and acoustic guitars in my gigs and i like the stereo option with stereo effects. Does anyone know if an A/B switch with 2 in and 2 couples of outs (possibly XLR) exists? i'm able to find only A/B or A/B/Y or A/B/C switches. Thanks to you all

Hi mates, i would like to do a similar thing but using both xlr outputs without panning. All i need is a an A/B switch with 2 in a 2 couple of outs and a footswitch to choos wich couple is active and wich is muted. Does anyone know if something like this already exist?

Hi guys i need help to choose an frfr speaker. Since i use both electric and acoustic profiles it has to be linear and i don't want it to colour the sound. Thanks in advance

Buoniorno ragazzi, avrei bisogno di un consiglio per uno speaker frfr. Usando sia profili per elettrica che per acustica non posso usare il mio cabinet marshall e vorrei optare per qualcosa di veramente lineare e fedele al profilo di turno. Che mi consigliate?

Grazie dei chiarimenti, comunqu usiamo come mixer un Midas MR18 che ha su tutti i canali input preamp midas quindi mi consigli di usare le due uscite main Jack a Jack nel mixer e non xlr a xlr?

Comunque di base uso 3 chitarre:
La strato cs una Gibson SG con Humbucker 490r e 490 t e un'acustica Larriveè d-09 ho visto che è possibile programmare la sezione input per ogni rig nelle performance e quindi ho deciso di lasciare totto a 0 per la Gibson, mentre alzo un pò il dist. Sense per la strato ( 2.5 ). Per la Larriveè uso un profilo di Rigbusters quello dell' ampli acus che è ottimo.

Comunque ho risolto quasi tutti i problemi tranne quello del suono che si va spesso ad impastare con quello del gruppo, insomma non riesco a bucare il mix specie negli assoli ( in cui uso suoni diversi tipo bogner o dumble o marshall) avresti qualche consiglio a riguardo? Secondo te com'è meglio impostare il pan dei 2 canali nel mixer?

Ciao ragazzi, uso il kemper da un pò ormai però non riesco a risolvere il seguente problema:

Usando l'uscita main L e R dal kemper diretto nel mixer spesso il suono delle chitarra s'impasta con quello del resto del gruppo, insomma non riesco a bucare il mix!! Uso solo buoni profili tipo PT M.Britt etc etc.

Ora stavo pensando di utilizzare la mia cassa marshall con greenback anche se so che andrà a colorare il suono dei profili però è l'unica soluzione che mi viene in mente anche perchè mi da fastidio pensare di aver speso tutti questi soldi per poi non riuscire a bucare il mix.

Se qualcuno di voi ha dei consigli sarei davvero grato.

Hi guys! i'm pretty new with the kemper (2 weeks) so i have a few questions for erxpert users:

1 - I've spend some time setting input & output settings but i noticed that when i play at home trough my active studio monitors i can turn the main out knob all the way up without clipping, instead when i use the same settings trough the mixer rearshing with my band the sound goes more over the clip and i have to lower the main out to about - 12,00 db . Can you please tell me how to better set the main out going into the mixer for live situations in performance mode?

2 - I have a 2015 custom shop postmodern Stratocaster and i set clean and distortion sens. in the input section at 0,00. Do i have to raise or lower it? What's the benchmark?

3 -My main purpose is to use the kemper for live gigs with perfomance mode, in your opinion it's right to leave the main out at a fixed value and work with the volume knob for the different rigs? i noticed that the main out does not change the tone instead the volume knob does (maybe i'm wrong). What you recommend?

4 - there's a way to increase the maximum time of recordin with the looper? and also i noticed that once the first loop is done, if i change the rig it changes also the rig of the recorded loop. It's possible to record the loop with a rig and play on it wih another rig?

5 - I would like to pratice and record with kemper sounds on my laptop, what's the right way to connect the kemper with my audio interface ( Steinberg UR MKII)? wich cables i need?

Ciao ragazzi!! sono un novellino del kemper (2 settimane) e quindi avrei un paio di domande da fare a voi utenti oiù esperti.

1- Ho ordinato un EP1 KP ed un dunlop dvp3, mi sapreste dire se i cavi per collegarli sono TRS 6.35 a 6.35 jack e TS 6.35 a 6.35 jack per l'ep1 e TS jack mono 6.35 mm per il dunlop dvp3?
2 - come si collegano correttamente?
3 - ho passato un pò di tempo ad impostare input e output del kemper però ho notato che quando suono a casa, collegandolo ai monitor studio attivi, posso sparare il main out al massimo e non supero mai il clip. Quando invece l'ho portato in sala prove e l'ho collegato al mixer ho quasi spaccato tutto e ho dovuto abbassare il main out a - 12,00 db. Sapreste dirmi come regolare al meglio l'output per lavorare con il mixer in situazioni live?
4 - Ho una strato custom shop postmodern del 2015 e ho impostato sia clean che dist. sens nell'input a 0,00. Posso alzare un pò? devo abbassare ancora? come mi regolo?
5 - Userò molto il kemper live in performance mode (l'ho comprato per quello) secondo voi è giusto lasciare il main ad un volume fisso e lavorare con volumi diversi nei rig? intendo cioè che il main out non influisce sul suono del rig invece la manopola del volume si, cosa mi consigliate?
6 - c'è un modo per aumentare il tempo di registrazione del looper? e soprattutto ho notato che una volta registrato il primo loop se cambio rig cambia anche il rig della registrazione, è possibile registrare il loop con un rig e suonarci sopra con un altro?
7 - se volessi studiare utilizzando il pc come posso collegare il kemper alla scheda audio? com'è meglio procedere? kemper nell'nput della scheda e poi esco dalla scheda nei monitor? la scheda in questione è una Steinber UR MKII.
8 - La domanda più bella, come fate a decidere quale rig usare? io sto impazzendo sono troppi e tutti davvero buoni

Hi guys! just ordered a m. e. ep1 kp and a dunlop dvp3 form my kemper. Now i have to buy the cables for them. Reading some threads i've understood that i have to buy a TRS 6.35 to 6.35 and a Ts jack mono 6.35 to 6.35 mm for the EP1 KP and a TRS 6.35 to 6.35 jack for the dunlop.
Could someone tell me if it's right? and also the right lenght of the cables?
