Dr Z. has some official packs on their website.

We should trade steel profiles! I've made a few too.

Released today, a live video I played pedal steel on for the band Pretty Gritty. You can see the toaster off to my right. I believe I was using a Milkman profile. I had an FRFR in the room so the others could hear me, but most of what you’re hearing is straight out of the KPA. I sent the engineer separate Stack and Delay/Reverb signals to mix together after the fact. Pretty pleased with the final product! Hope you enjoy.

Good idea.

Cool idea. Maybe like the EHX Hum Debugger?

In pretty much every plugin or audio editor I can think of, the graphical knob is controlled by clicking and dragging up/down or left/right - you never have to physically move the mouse in a circle to get it to work. This doesn’t seem like an issue to me.
Some plugins will even have a little pop-up window that shows the value of the parameter being changed, updating in real time. That’s helpful. A “fine” control is nice too.

I have one, and it's pretty great. I have nothing to compare it to though. But I like it!

What's so bad about rotary knobs? Tons of plugins use them...
The "fine control" idea is nice. Usually it's found by holding a modifier key (control, I think).

You can see some of the breakpoint curves in this video for the Hall of Fame 2:

Would also be cool to have certain parameters only activate in part of the overall morph curve, like the phaser idea.

It's not something simple like the -12 dB button for the main outputs, is it? Which outputs are you using?

One or two LEDs on the collar.

Seeing the video of the new editor tweaking Morph parameters got me thinking. Wouldn't it be great if instead of a simple, linear "start here, end there" response, we could tell the KPA to use a different morph curve? This would potentially really increase the useable range of morphing with an expression pedal, especially when morphing multiple parameters simultaneously. For example, I like to morph my reverbs and delays to get longer and more intense toward the end of the range. So point A is pretty dry, point B is outer space, and in between is where I usually live. Wouldn't it be cool if I could morph the mix control on a phaser, for example, to only kick on in that last 10% of the expression pedal range? I have a one-knob TC reverb pedal with software that allows me to program the curves, and it's really useful.
Another cool tweak would be allowing Morph to control on/off parameters, not just continuous ones. Similar idea - you could specify at which point along the curve you'd like the Stomps to turn on, for example.

My rule of thumb is this: if you have to move the gain up or down more than a click or two, try another profile. This is why it's nice to get packs with the same amp at different points in the gain structure.

Weird that they left in that footage after bring asked to cut. Cool about the new FX!
